Basically polish all the moving parts and the surfaces they contact. Don't remove the anodizing just make it as slick as possible. In the case of a Tippmann 98 remove all the overspray on the inside of the gun. Use a very light sand paper, 1200-1600 grit and then use a good polishing compound.
You may want to polish all the air paths as well. This decreases any resistance that the air may have in going through your gun.

i just smoothed them a little bt with 600 grain sandpaper, and that was it. I didnt take any anadozing ff, just smooth them a little, and polished them with the stuff, and it made them extremeley smooth.
