My friends and I have been building this truly awesome speedball field in the woods down the street from my house... Only problem is is that it's not on our land but it is the perfect spot to build a field. All the woods around it tend to flood after only a little rain comes through and it is an open area perfect for speedball. These people have a fence that runs down and stops before the woods but their property extends down to a golf course, we built it about 6-7 yards away from their fence. Yesterday when we were building the woman came out and yelled that "she wished we'd stop building because it doesn't look very pretty"
ANY SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT WE SHOULD DO? Thanks!

That sounds exactly like my problems! Tell the lady about it and tell her to shut up. J/K. But we cut a hole in navy property fencing and built our field in the woods. Since last May, some ******* neighbors knocked it down, bound up the fence, and tarred our bunkers over five times. Hasn't happened in a while though. :) Anyway, try to make some sort of agreement...

Tell them that you'd clean off the bunkers with some water after each play and if any paintball go onto her property you'll clean up her yard. Also to prevent the paintballs going into her yard put up a net like the field goal nets for football (not that large though) so you can put it up and down so she doesn't have to see it. But definetly sit down talk and make an agreement.

Thanks to the guys that actually gave me useful information... she wants it so that the woods will be pretty so i think i'm gonna try and camoflauge the plywood bunkers with some paint or staple leaves onto it:laugh: The thing is though is that these people don't even use their backyard and make it seem as if they don't care about it... it's just like the woods... But their house sits on a small hill that's prob. 30 feet higher than the ground level of the field. And what aggravates me the most is that their kids are potheads and drug dealers and always go into the woods and smoke and leave garbage all over the place and the parents must know they do it! any more suggestions would be great

You shouldnt be building on land that's not yours w/o consent though.

they moved in like 3-4 months ago... we had started building it before they moved in cause the kid that used to live there was into paintball.

I think that seems like the best idea so far. Offer to clean up any messes you make and do some of their yardwork. Adults like good wholesome kids like that.

Make your bunkers able to be laid down after you play, we had to do that but now the people think that the field still looks ok and they allow us to play!

Stop right there.
If it's not your land, then you first ask. If they decline and not let you play there, then you DON'T PLAY THERE.
That simple.
Well, if they don't want you to play there because it doesnt look pretty DO THIS! We have a field 100 feet away from my house its GREAT! But all the neighbors complained about HOW UGLY it was. Well finally one cool neighbor told me if we mowed his lawn for 2 months he would build us NICE new bunkers. All 4 by 4's, with hinges on them that have 1 peice of 2by4 on each side, so we can move them easily and set them up. When we are done playing we take them down. Hope this helped! :agree:

Yeah... from what you guys have said the best idea is to make them so you can take them down and put them back up when you play... I'm probably going to somehow make it with the use of latches... You guys should come play on it when i'm done.;) I'll keep you updated on the turnout

you should get permission about the land if you can use it for a playing area, keep the answers short, don't give off too many hints or they'll start charging $$, if they start charging $$ you can either pay or get them fined for it not being comercial/rec land
no one can complain if you have permission unless if it's not rec land
if she's serious about it not being 'pretty' ask her to help you make it pretty and she'll stop complaining, but all in all, you've got yourself a field

if its not your land... find out whose land it is and ask them if you can build a field back there.... if you ask the owner if you can play there he/she will probally say yes..... if you dont ask then one day when your playing back there the owner might come around and bring the police with him and you guys dont want that... my advise is to ask the owner.... get written permission.... and if that lady isnt the owner, and you have written permission to make a feild back there i dont think she can do much about it... so make it as ugly as you can for her

Okay, everything i say my be illegal so by reading it you make me exempt from lawsuits. Alright with that out of the way, lets get this underway.
1. The Jones Go Out Of Town
When your neighbors go out of town, which they will :badboy: call their electric/gas company, water company, waste disposal, mail, gardeners, house cleaners, any kind of service they have you've noticed. Your going to tell them that your going out of town for the next month and you don't want to waste any money, and you want your services shutoff. It will be great when they get home.
2. Who's At The Door?
Do you thing they'd ever suspect the people next door to them for doorbell ditching. Get your friends have one as lookout, one as camera man and one as the "ditcher". Keep doing this in intervals of 10 to 30 min, or whenever the opportunity arises. If their old they'll most likely call the police on the first one. So be ready to run back to your house.
3 Lets Go Swimming
Your neighbors have a pool?.....Good, find where their filter is, find the long silver thing that looks like a missile. Take that off and take the filter out of the silver thing. With the filter out the filtration unit will cease to function.
I'm sorry but its too late to think of anymore
