Is there any difference between the electropneumatic bolts made by other companies such as 32degrees,or ballistic sports?they all looks pretty much the same to me,but maybe there`s some difference cuz I`ve read that they have some different firemodes ,etc. ...but I just want to know if any if them has some advantage over the other.:eyes: :dizzy:

There are different kinds of ebolts but they do not do anything different. some of the ebolts look differnt and are programmed differnt but they all shoot the same modes. With the ballistic sports ebolt it is purly digital and the regular ebolt (GTA ebolt) is digital and analog. that means that the GTA ebolt uses dip switches and the trigger to program it and the the ballistic sports uses just the trigger and no hastle of the dip switches. any more questions
P.s i personaly like my ballistic sports ebolt because of the no dipswitches

their reply to my e-mail a while back...

"The major difference is the ability to change fire modes in open play mode without disassembling the gun. Other than that they are pretty much the same kit. We use a few better parts than Tippmann does (we feel). Our ram is stainless steel, Tippmann's is aluminum (you know what C02 does to
aluminum). We use a 5v solenoid, Tippmann uses a 6v solenoid. What this does is allow you to shoot your battery down an extra volt before it quits working. Some of the fire modes are different. We use military spec fire modes. The board has several options onboard that are not implemented in the standard layout. Like a rotary switch option for fire mode selection, fire mode lock to lock into any 1 of the 7 modes avaliable and still have access to the dwell and ROf settings. These options are not functionable on the standard board but they are there. Our kit fits either the M98 Custom or the M98 Classic. The battery box is aluminum, Tippmann's os plastic. Our kit is modular, Tippmann's kit is soldered together into 1 peice. I could go on and on, but I think that you get the just. Yes, our kit has an LPR. It is a micro rock style and mounts on the tank adapter, and is included with the kit. The ram does not need to be oiled on our kit. If you do, then oil it VERY sparingly. The stainless steel and cup seal are very slippery and oil can just slow things down. C02 does not effect our kit, but it is designed to be run on Nitro or HPA. Hope this helps.

one thing i picked out, "co2 does not effect our kit"

not likely, first off, most seloniods designed to work at low pressure ranges have problems with overpresurization if they get to much liquid co2 past the lpr, not to meantion the fact that a higher pressur will decrease the amount of time it takes for the hammer to move from the rest position to wher it opens the valve, this may seem like a very small difference, but when coupled with the difference in pressure, coming out of the valve, it makes velocity spikes even worse.

another thing, tippmanns e-kit also has an LPR, its buit into the HPR.

And what about the one comes from 32deegrees I`ve seen on the net?Does anybody used that or ever seen one of them?the built in regulators are regulating the full operating pressure or it just takes some of the gas flow down to let the system work?I mean If I`ll buy an Lp-powertube then it will work with the electro-s and don`t need secondary reg?:eyes:

I just got my ballistic sports e-bolt and it doesn't shoot quite as far as it used to with co2. It is also so hard to maintain a constant velocity without the regulator hissing. HELP!!!!

WHAT? an e-bolt on co2? NEVER do that. First of all, the liquid co2 and the e-bolt hate each other. Its very bad for liquid to get into it, plus it uses extra gas so you need nitro. THats just a sacrifice you got to make. IMO E-bolt needs nitro, or anti-siphon co2, not sure though.
