i went over to my friends house the other day and his little brother had a talon, and it was pretty accruate. he set up a trash can accross the yard and he pumped it, aimed it, and pulled the trigger. the thing lobbed a paintball accross the yard and it smacked the trash can right in the center of it. pretty good for 20 bucks

Yeah it brings back memories...the talon...one of my friends, before we all got into paintball, got a talon from his uncle and we thought it was the superest awesomest thing in the world. Now, after a several years, we have put it up on a shelf and dubbed it "Old Crappy." *Tear*Sniffle*

I think they are good for starting- and then tinkering with it. I busted more balls in that thing then when I droped 800 rd. of paint on the pavement. Although, Thinking back to my personal memories of pain, I niled my friend in the thumb with it. Streched it back, almost snapped his thumb. They are nice guns- especially if you put a sling on it.

I am sorry but my thoughts coincide with the list 101 ways to use a talon... and if you haven't read it.... lets just say you'll laugh you'll cry you'll agree. I am not in anyway against all of brass eagle products but the talon definately was not impressing and definately belongs in the circular file...

Sounds interesting! My talon probably broke the same way all others do, the stupid pumping arm broke in two! It was kinda cool, it at least had an auto trigger! The first couple of shots (3 or 5) would come out at like 350 to 400 fps! I remember i shot a full-unopened can of pepsi with a brand new Co2 thing in it, It turned it inside out! amazing! then i did the same thing with my shutter and weww, that sucked, it only knocked it off the table! Well pumps are good for something!
