Hey, ive been seriously thinking about starting a paintball club between our town's high schools and the surrounding schools. I know many people that would back this idea up but i just wanted to know any more information. Like helping me get this started. If you've started one let me know how you did it.
Thanks

I don't think the schools will do it. markers are considered a weapon in schools.

The guy who owns our local feild works at our school and we've tried to start one for the last 2 years. It actually got though everyone exept the superintendent, meaning if he hadnt said no it would have happened. We didnt ask for it to be school sponsored, just school recognized (so we could put announcements on the PA, and such).

One thing i would do is to have kids bring home forms for their parents to sign. Parental support looks a lot better than just having 50 random kids sign a peice of paper. Try to strike a deal with your feild to get discounts. then u might get more people to join. Dont ask to be school sponsored though, because the school wont give u money. They dont like being associated with violent activities. Also, how would u divide the $$ up?

(there are other threads on this subject, try searching for college and high school paintball clubs)
