do you guys listen to music while you play? i don't but i know some people who do. they say it gets your adrenalin level way up (fast song) or it can calm you down to concentrate (slow song). i can't because i rely to much on hearing things (shots, teammates, footsteps, etc.)

ill listen to a song to get it in my head so ill remember it. I would listen if I could but sometimes i just bring a boom box to a forest and play wit my friends.

God no! Half the game for me is the sound. If someone was blaring music in the backround that would suck. Now on the way to the game thats different. Slayers 'War Ensomble' always gets me pumped.

When available, music rules. Sure, hearing your opponents is very important, but music is cool! At one scenario game I was at they had the mortal kombat soundtrack going, I was feeling that KMFDM stuff when I was in a tight spot defending our flag. Low Co2, 10 paintballs left, and about 10 guys pushing up...the rest is really cool, but, I'm too lazy to tell.

woods i can see music, but for me on a speedball course it would be insane, the guy across would be like, "Guy in the back right!" I'd hear, "Blah! Gooosh! Blahh!!!" and some more noise, and have no clue what he was saying.. and be clueless. Wouldn't work.

Loud Music would suck on a woods field because you couldn't hear people sneaking up on you, but on indoor fields some fast music to get you pumped is really nice.
