Paintball Assemblage

Heres an idea that all depends on people's willingness to travel. Does anyone here think it would be possible to set a date for a paintball assemblage of like 100 members of pbreview.com??? We could make it a yearly occurrence. I bet it would be a hell of a good time.

I guess it would all depend on where you wanted us all to travel too. However, if any of you out there are in Central Florida, We could hook up at Thunderbay or another field.

Yeah, ive noticed that a lot of people on this forum live in Florida or in close states in the Southwest. So im suggesting that maybe we could have a huge "paintball bash" once or twice a year in FL for all u locals or people who live in close states and are willing to travel the distance to play with all us paintball geeks and freaks. :) Oh wait Muck, I forgot the elderly. :D

Maybe I could convince them to fill my Marbs with Malox, or Geritol. :eek:

I'm in St. Petersburg. The field I play at is outside of Tampa, in Oldsmar ... But I'm sure I could make a road trip, and there's a small group I usually play with, and we've been talking about hitting some other fields.

Ah, C'mon Flash, There are so many Canadians (AKA Snowbirds) in Central Florida right now that I thought it was law up there that y'all had to move to Florida for seven months out of the year. :eek: Surely there's a bus or train or something that ships Y'all down here for free! :eek:

Muck i go too St. petersburg about once a year too see my dad there.I never took a gun with me,I can see me walking on a plane with a Auto Mag in my suit case. I be willing to go too Fla and play. But if its on the west coast i be there for sure lol. Like California.

I wonder what airport security would do when u put ur luggage bag through the scanning machine and the guy sees an automatic paintball gun and mistakes it for a mp5 semi-automatic machine gun. SECURITY! SECURITY! Would anyone in FL (Muck, Pb Monkey, others) be willing to travel to South Carolina, Georgia, or somewhere close so that people not in the Southwest might be willing to come also? Would anyone up North be willing to travel South this far? Because i go up to Georgia once a year and I could probably make the drive to somewhere in that area, maybe a little North.

Hmmmm ... I wasn't aware that Maryland and Virginia were the Center of the Eastern Shoreline ... maybe I should break out the map more often :eek:

For now, and the near future, I'd have to consider a location somewhere in the Southeast: Fla, Ga., S.C., Miss., or La.

If everyone is really interested, I suggest you start looking for players who live close to where you live, and set up times to meet at nearby fields. Hold some Mini-PBReview Assemblages ... If they work, and are easy to coordinate, we could plan for a bigger meeting maybe next year.

ANTI: We should hook up. I don't plan on hitting the field again for a couple of weeks. How easy would it be for you t scoot into Tampa? If not, let me know about the fields in your area, I could probably convince a couple of the guys to head into to your area. What ya think?

In live in Sarasota, and i frequently make the drive to that region for Lightning hockey games. If you want, we could meet up there at whatever paintball field u go to or theres a place in Bradenton called Hi-Tec, where ive played a couple of times and its really nice. I plan on playing at a tourney in Tampa at Weekend Warrior's Field (have you heard of this?) on March 11. I could probably play after that, maybe during spring break. I could gather some of my friends if you want, most of them are newbies, but they arent that bad.

That sounds cool ... I haven't heard of Weekend Warriors, where in Tampa is it located? March sounds good for getting together, and maybe Bradenton would be a good place to meet since it's halfway for both of us. We just need to set a date so I can take the day off, I really hate going into work after spending the whole day on the field.

Best Days for me, Thurs - Sun. I work Saturday and Sunday but can easily take one or both off. I'm off Thursday and Friday, there is one field here open those nights, but it's not very big. Saturday and/or Sunday would definitely be the best for me. Just let me know.

There's also a group of people I play with who are going to a Scenario game over in Polk County in April, I think its the 14th and 15th. I'll be out of town that week, but if you're interested, I'll try to hook you up with them.

Gee ... :) , ain't it great to see the Paintball Community coming together like this ... It almost makes me want to take a Shizit ... :eek:

it is okay. they guy who runs it is real nice. It doesn't have any speedball fields, which sucks.
