I want to eventually go LP with my cocker, but I want a tank I can use until I do go lp and after I go lp without spending a fortune. I want it to be able to have atleast as many shots as a 20 CO2. IDe prefer not to spend over 300..

Also whats a good inline that can be used with Hp or LP...

Nope. they are lower than other guns, but definately not LP. They come stock at 350-400psi.

ya know, I'm getting a Nitro/HPA tank very soon. I'm looking at Presets, and can't believe the difference in price on some. A 68 ci 3000psi tank is $129 from one company and $300 from another. What's the difference. What makes on steel container better than anyother?

Steel is not very good in my own opiniopn. It is too damm heavy, and hella ugly. I like fibor wraped much better1.

Steel is heavy but I don't like worrying about scratching a fiber tank.

I don't think any DF out there fit the Flateline. I know you can buy a adapter to fit dovetail DF.

Better regulators is part of it. The rest is the fiber wrap vs. steel. I use(d) a pmi 68ci 3k steel.

If your thinking about presets, take a good look at bulldogs. Very nice regs, fast recharge time. The only downside is that theyre ugly as sin.

yeah it's mostly the reg. Look at the Max flo, and look at the Xfire. THe max flo has MUCH better consistancy than the crossfire, thus it costs more. ALso, preset and adjustable regs on the tanks have to do with it too.

Do you think they will release DFs for the flatline anytime soon?

I figured the adustable flow has a lot to do with the higher price, but even among presets, depending on the company, prices no a 68 ci can range from around $100 to more than $200. Frankly, I don't care if it looks like a burnt sausage, as long as it works. I make good money, but I don't want to put out major bucks for a tank. I'm not a tournament player, I don't do this everyday, so I don't need the top-of-the-line tank. Just something that's gonna work good and not explode at the first filling.

go with an Air America Melee tank, or if you wanna get something a bit cheaper, get a Pure Energy tank. They are both very nice tanks, and are resonably priced, although the AA tank is a bit more expensive, but the reg has a fast recharge rate, so that means little/no dropoff.

I've got a PMI pure energy, that works incredible , and i've more than put it through it's tests. However, I think alot of my performance comes from the fact that I run it through an AA vigilante reg first. The PE kinda drops down to about 600 psi during rapid fire (which is full auto at 14bps) but enver gets lower. However, my Vigilante is set to 550, and therefore, the recharge is more than enough for me, and the consistency is dead on. If you can get a setup like mine (it really aint that expensive) I'd reccomend it, but there are alot of good tanks out there. That's my choice. I would seriously consider a Fiber tank over stainless though, the weight difference is great

Go NitroDuck all the way. Awesome tank and even better customer service. I can never say enough good stuff about these guys and their tanks. I have been using mine for over 3 years and it is flawless....

i have a 68ci pure energy 3k tank. i like the steel cause you don't have to worry about scratches. i run it through my max flow reg though...but any tank will be consistant with that. if you want less weight get the wraped one...but if you don't care and are hard on tanks get steel. it is a nice small size and gets a few more shots than a 20 oz. i want to hear some horror stories also...i never heard any.

Dräko... sorry dude, I carried the icon over from another forum and I've had it on the board since October. Does it really matter who had it first or what? At least we have the same taste in icons and in Paintball. :)
