You need to find out the output limit on your gun. Most low end blow backs like yours and mine will run no more than 800 psi. So make sure whaen buying a tank (you should look for fixed out put) get something that will coincide with your m98. Otherwise yes it will work a hundred times better than that crappy c02 you are using. One of the key ingrediants to good consistant accuracey is a good air system. I was laughed at in the staging area for having a stock piranha with drop forward cradle, macro line and nitro tank. I had an eight dollar hopper, stock barrel and stock internals, but very consistantly great accuracey along with many eliminations which silenced the laughter after one game. No joke. True story. You will not get the accuracey you truely desire until you get rid of the c02 and upgrade to ca or n2! If the weather changes a lot where you live like here in colorado (it can be 80 feirenhiet at 9am and -30 at 12 noon when the clouds roll in and drop a foot of snow in two hours) this will only make c02 worse than it already is. We have a saying in denver, "if you don't like the weather here, wait five minutes" Co2 behaves badly during weather changes, but they don't have to be so draatic as I described. 10 degrees can cause your marker to act up and throw your entire game out balance.

Well, I don't know about Colorado, but down here in Tennessee, the weather is relatively constant that minor adjustments to velocity and regulators make Co2 run PERFECTLY fine. Now if you are a tournement player, you DEFINATELY want nitro but I personally see now reason in running HPA unless you are a tournement player or the weather treats Co2 horrible where you are. I can play with Co2 in any of my guns (except my bro's e-mag or my Angel, which run only on Nitro) fine without any problem until it gets below 40 degrees (Norm temp during summer 94 degrees). Borrow someone's Mico Nitro (any nitro with a fixed output) and shoot it, then play a game or two with Co2 and then decide if you want to invest in a Nitro tank. Make sure to take into account the number of shots you get per tank.

it would work but i dont know why you would want to. just go out and buy a normal gun like a cocker, timmy, matrix... ect. then put nitro on that. i thionk you will be alot happier with a set up like that.
