What do you guys think about this paint? $35 is hard to turn down. Its not like seconds or anything...
would it be worth the extra 7$ for big ball or the extra $10 for Blaze?

go for it, if it matches the bore size of the barrel then keep on buying it, if not, try the blaze and big ball.

Nelsons are pretty good, but they have a thin fill, and you'll get some bounces. Not a long range ball at all. Flies straight, in my experience.

I bought them recently & they shoot real good but the paint is really thin, as long as your not playing against wipers your good to go.

I used to use Hot Spot a lot, until my local shop ended their distribution deal with Nelson. It shot great, impressive for such a cheap paint.

If you want to go that cheap, look into Zap Primer and JT Elites

I got hot spot and it sucked. Nothing but breaks all day. Very brittle and not very consistent size. If you are looking for good cheap paint check out gap. About same price as hotspot but much better

I was going to get Hot-spot but I couldnt find anything out about the quality from websites or reviews so i stayed away, I did however try my luck with Zap Primer it was $35 at Action village. I did have two bags with broke balls. The paint was greasy like KFC, but no lie this paint shot like a champ.

in my experience hot spots arnt vewry good paint balls, my friend was shooting them threw a dye bearrel and they were curvin, he thought it was the barrel, but i used the barrel with big balls and it was great. i would pay a little extra to get big ball.

don't pay the extra, Hot spot is good, I used to use it a lot. and it is true it has thin paint. I now use big ball. Big ball is good but I have experienced more breaks with it than using hot spot. Big Balls shot the best through. Blaz is high quality but to small and expensive for me.

allright i have a case of green shell orange fill hotspots and a case of yellow zap primer. The hotspots seem to be pretty nice the seam is a little big but they a for the most part consistenly round the shell is not real brittle and I left a few out of the bag over night and they got very soft, the fill in the hotspots was very thin almost water thin. The primer on the other hand had little seams and a much thicker fill than the hotspots. I also had some draxxus midnights and they were the best out these paints with the thickest fill smallest seams and most brittle shells. I would buy primer over hotspots although the hotspots fit my 12" J&J ceramic barrel a little better than the primer did. The primer is almost as good as the midnights were. All of the paint had some dimples but non were very bad. I bought all of this paint at www.fistcallpaintball.com. The primer is 29 the hotspots were 32.99 and the midnights were 41.99
