I saw this tutorial on how to make the Model 98 full auto:

you'll need a tiny piece of paper, rolled to the size of the sear pin. slide the sear forward so its where the trigger can catch it. put the paper in the lttle gap where the sear slides. now the sear wont slide back until you let go of the trigger. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- will yhis work and is it safe?

The person said they got it from the m98center but they're gone now. Does anyone know if it will work? I'm a fairly new gun owner and I want to know if I can really make it full auto without screwing up my gun.

it will work, but it work, but it cycles too fast for any loader, and since it doesnt get caught by the sear, that slight delay causes the bolt not to open long enough for the ball to drop, and you end up chopping...in conclusion, no its better off not done...

dont do it, u'll screw up ur gun then ur going to get pissed off, then u got to get it fixed, so its worth it not to do it as said above...too good to be true, if u want full auto, get the E-BOLT

I agree, it isn't worth it. Fields don't usually allow full-auto and that ROF is goign to turn your gun into a blender like was said. The only way that might work is if you had a delayed blowback similar to the design of the MP5 SMGs, but that isn't going to happen on the 98C very easily.
