Cant choose... Which gun?

hi all i want to know which gun that i should get. These are the options im thinking of. Bushy, Defiant, Black Magic Autococker, Bob Long Intimidator, MAD Impulse (a type of Impulse)Shocker, or Automag RT. Keep in mind I'm 12 years old (please dont give me any crap about how those guns arent for 12 year olds) and these are my concerns.

Electro= I live in north US and it gets pretty damn wet up here. Plus i dont know bout the idea of going onto a paintball field with a microchip.

Cocker= Timing. I'm not worried about short stroking, but many people said that cockers give em a headache.

Mag= Performance. These things are easy and stuff, but man are they accurate?

i would say intimidator because it will perform great while not need timimg and it will be hella fast and is just an all around great gun, it also has ACE which makes it impossible to chop paint. dont worry about your gun getting wet, they wouldnt make guns that cant stand a little rain, people in rainy areas play too = )

well first if your 12 (no im not complainin about age) but if your 12 a timmy will probably be to big those things are kinda big same thing with the shocker i say go with the bushy if i could trade my sto for a bush i would

i am sure you could spray. or you could sell your sto and just buy a bushy. bushies are cheap now, they are only like $450 for a brand new one, i am sure there si some one with an upgraded one that would trade you for your STO

Maybe 20below should trade me names! In answer to your question, I think any of those guns are good choices. The magic cockers are sweet looking and a lot of people like the way cockers perform, try one and see for yourself. I would personaly recomend electro. The field I play at has a ten man team and all of them shoot electro, angels, bushies, imps, whatever, I tried out to fill a position, but the old guy came back. I guess he decided not to move or something. I am very happy with my boo-yaah!

well im kinda confused (cocker is looking good). and to venom, yes the tank is awesome and light. preset but oh well. cocker is looking good cause, well, il only concerned with one thing... the headaches. timing and having the gun brake are my only concerns. i dont care bout short stroking, ill adjust if needed (if its the same as ev x or 2001 then i wont cause i can shoot em fine).thanks fer yer help so far all, keep posting!

I am assuming that you are a typical 12 year old and that you are not some giant genius future mechanicle engineer.

IMO the mag design is the most compact and would therfore fit you best. Also mags are incredibly easy to maintain and you cant really mess them up. So your twelve year old nonpaintballer friends who maybe dont have as much common sense as you wont be able to break it just by fiddleing with it. SOme of the guns mentioned above are quite complex and can be made inoperable just by playing with the settings. (autococker)

The E-mag is the best electro if you are worried about the electronics failing on you because it can still be fired even if the batterie is dead or the electronics short out.

he does have different gun choces than the other threads and he is in a different situation, you have to take in consideration the fact that he is smalll and it would hard for him to carry around a big gun liek a timmy or sumthin

he didnt look at the other threads because this one is about HIM.. hes 12, its different then a big guy that can hold a bigger gun, like the timmy or shocker.. and he wanted people to give their opinion on what is best, so let him goddamn be and stop SPAMMING his POST..

and my advice..
cockers are great, but IMO they need a whole lotta TLC, and some luck. a 'cocker, unlike a spyder, can not be thrust away after a game without careful cleaning and maintenence, and you can **** them up by doin something wrong. but i love them.

Shockers are also sweet, i had my hand on one today i was ****en amazed at the trigger pull and BPS rate that it was getting.. but they are huge.

Don't turn off the mag so quickly, an RT Mag is a great gun, very simple, quick-shooting and still fairly accurate.



i'd go with a nice cocker, maybe not even a BM cocker, but an STO (its a BM without the -kinna ugly- anod/milling), or other cockers like a Dye Cocker, KAPP cocker, or some local shops, like Boston Paintball Supply near me, makes the SICK express cocker... best way to decide though is to shoot them and try them, and see what you like.

I would get an RT pro or vision impulse, of course thats just me. Mags are simple enough for a monkey to learn inside and out, and I'm pretty sure an impulse is fairly easy to maintain also...
