Stickers On Markers

It seems that recently (especially after the NPPL banned certain hopper stickers) more and more stickers have been showing up on marker bodies as well as masks.

I have stickers on my 'Cocker, but I only placed them there to embellish the stock body. (A PIC of my marker can be found here - http://hometown.aol.com/gizmo8z/ )

What do you think of this whole marker/mask sticker trend?

Do people do this not only to promote their sponsors or fav. products, but also to hide hits?

Do you have stickers on your marker/mask? If so, Why?

i have an angry paintball on the back of my valve body, and i have a pbr sticker on my mask along with an aka sticker. I thinks its cool as long as it looks good, but if it looks goofy it looks.... well goofy.

That's cool. I've also noticed that a lot of people put stickers and such on their gear as an attempt to mimic the pros.

I guess that they believe that by mimicking the pros they'll somehow be better players.:|

I cover my hopper and pods in stickers. Live Evil.

I prefer to keep them off my gun, though.

I personally like stickers on stock markers, to me it gives them a much better apperance. I've got a big Dye D logo sticker on the body of my Trix and an Evil E on the forebreech. On My impulse, I've got a New designz, a little Evil E, a little Dye D, and a word dye sticker. (wonder which sticker sheets i bought:rolleyes: )

i'm not a big fan of stickers on markers...never looked good to me, I always seemed to think it was kinda tacky, though some stickers do look nice, but not my style...to each his own though(to be incredibly cliche)

until I got my evoII I put stickers on my hoppers and my old mask, but now I just put stickers on my toolbox.

I don't the stickers you have look that bad but I'm hardly a spokesperson for NPPL. I don't put stickers on my gun or mask the hopper I might consider but for now I put stickers on my tool box as a sort of homage to those I chose to help me build my Timmah and some just kewl ones too.

I have one true vinly decal on the reciever of my victor(getting a new frame soon ne way) because its a vinyl decal i made in school that says rotten apple and being as how my victor is a dark green i thought it fit well.

I'm not totally 100% familiar with the NPPL sticker rule, I just know that they only allow one sticker on each side of a hopper, and I think they must only be 1 color (yellow, black or red). CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG!

I have a few stickers on my gun/hopper, personally I think you should take off most of the stickers, the one i really like is the DYE one.

Which dye one? The White circle one?

Personally, I like the girl sticker, it gives my marker a WW2 Bomber look.:)

Both Dyes look nice, and so does that girl, any sticker that has a clear or no background will look nicer.

I dont have stickers on my hopper or marker. I do have chinese word stickers on my air. My 9oz has the "Attitude" symbol and my 20oz has the "Anger" symbol. Looks nice and I know which tanks are mine. Also, on my mask I have spikes (sweet) and a hat pin that says "Sniper." Ya, I know, no such thing as a sniper, but it looks nice.

I don't like the way stickers on the gun itself look. The hopper and mask fine. Overall, I tend not to like brand name stickers but message stickers ?...:sleep:

I've got two little American Flag stickers on my hopper. I like em'. I mean if you like something, why not show that you do.

Stickers are kewl...but what is the purpose?? If ya like'em stick'em if you don't then don't.

In a way when I put my first sticker on my hopper I felt like a poser...Like if I had a sponsor then I would put their stickers all over my gear!!

I have 2 pbr ones on my hopper, and 1 agd one on my hopper, no other stickers, I have always thought, either lots of stickers on guns or no stickers, just one or two looks dumb, I dont have anystickers on my gun, but I'd like to put some on

most stickers i see people have on their guns looks stupid. small %age are cool with good statment or match the guns.

The reason for so many stickers is to confuse and camoflauge hits on the hopper, then gun, etc. Hence, the NPPL rule.

who did a test. where?

it doesnt matter, if you have a white sticker on the side of your hopper, and the entire hit is on the sticker, then it is camoflauged. If the ref didnt see or anyone else didnt see it break, then to everyone who looks at it from afar its just a sticker.
