I've been looking for a bottom-gun regulator, and the only one i've found is the palmer female stabilizer (i think it's a bottom-gun reg.). Are there any other ones i should consider? How does it perform?...and by the way...i read in another post that you shouldn't have your regulator before the expansion chamber because your regulator will set the pressure, the gas will expand in the expansion chamber, and defeat the purpose of the reg. Is there anyway around this? My JT 4.0 has a stock x-chamber and i didn't want to waste it if i get a regulator.

PE makes a bottom line reg, its made so you can screw in a preset nitro tank and it will make it adjustable. i havent heard anything bad about them, so i think they are descent regs. . .

Yes it would, and the Female stab is more expensive, but is way better for CO2 so I'd reccomend it. And no, there is no way around the expansion after reg problem except by removing the expansion chamber. Just the way it is
