My Alley Cat II will not recock! I have an ACI sub-zero 4 chamber expansion chamber and a bottom line but other than that the gun is stock. The gun fires when cocked but either sticks forward or "burps" and sticks forward. I've tried everything in the manual to fix this problem to no avail. I've also noticed that when taking my CO2 tank off there seems to be a lot of pressure behind the tank, it kicks off the gun. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks

Sounds like possible build up of gunk from the CO2 in the hose or elsewhere in the marker.

Check all your airways for blockage. Teflon tape can plug an ACI pretty darn quick, so that would be a good place to start.

Your marker is degassing all the air in your expansion chamber as well what is in the marker. That is why it is kicking when you take off the CO2. Slow down and let the air bleed off. If it sin't bleeding off after you unscrew your tank part of the way you could have a blocked bleed off hole. Check your bottom line.
As far as the recock you need to adjust your two screws that are on the side of our marker. stock settings are front one out three turns and the back one out one full turn. if that doesn't work put your hand over the barrell and shoot your marker. if it recocks then you just need to keep adjusting your two side screws.
Let me know If it works.......I have some other things that can be checked ..
