today i went to my local paint shop and found out that instead of nitrogen they are filling peoples tanks with compress air(plane old air)and not telling them it is not nitrogen..Is this an ok practice? does it work as well? is it ok for your marker? Should i call them on this practice?

Air and nitrogen are the same thing pretty much. I've never really heard of people selling nitrogen. I think people just call it nitro because air is 70% nitrogen.

Compressed air and nitrogen both work in HPA tanks. They have the same properties. Nitrogen is sometimes a bit more expensive. Cuz the stores need to truck that in. Stores can save on compressed air when they have their own compressor.
Just make sure if they are using a compresser they filter the air that they compress, or your tank will slowly but surely get clogged.
