-8 bucks (canadian) per 100 balls. 12 for 100 for renters
-they wont let u use barrel plug, they say it'd shoot right out of your gun . u need an barrel condom which they charge 15 bucks for
-expensive membership fee
-charge u 3 for evey co2 fill ( they come in $5 for the whole tank if u dont know)
-whole lot of rip off being the only shop/ feild in the area
-i see lots of renters do this :drop: when they see the bill (100 bucks -150 for a player)

location and price.
..but cant really blame location on them; its not their fault.
$80 for a case of field paint is pretty typical, but still way too much in my opinion.
but thats about it. i think the field has plenty of strong points.

Great refs.
Very organized, with very friendly people.
I suppose the only thing I wish that was changed, is the fact that so many newbies come to play, I have nothing against newbies, but when I go to the field to play, I want a challenge, newbies just dont put up enough of a challenge. But hey, with such great prices/location, your going to attract people of all skill levels.

My 'local' (45 minutes) field (Paintball Depot, NJ) charges $20 to get on if you have your own gear, and then each case costs $100. Can't byop. Air they charge/fill, no discount. But the guys are good people, so it's not all bad. But I'd rather just go to their pro-shop (10 minutes from my house) to talk to the guys than 45 minutes and $120 to talk to the guys.

refs respect gear...if you have good gear you get good calls
the cost is decent, not gouging so no problems
location is about 30-40 minutes away...a real pain in the arse for me
every kid has a high-end gun and they trade paint...can't get anyone to move up in the woods
everything is about your gear
speedball and tournaments are the only good thing

if you're a member and pay the $80/yr member fee, you get it for $80/case
if you go on wednesdays, which almost no one does because of school/work then you can get it for $50/case

Only think bad about the field I go to (Badlandz) is the paint cost is a bit high (60 for PMI Premium, 70 if you're in a private group (field paint)) and it's about an hour away (not their fault).
Other than that, no complaints.

I don't think I hate anything about my field.... well, one thing. It's run by one guy who is really cool and helpful, but the field is only open on Sundays, which is a downside. Besides that, it's 15 for entry, BYOP, safe environment, and 10 for air all day. What's even cooler is that you can call him at the store and tell him to bring a case to the field and you can pay him there rather than having to drive to the store before playing. Sometimes I don't pay for air all day and he forgets, so free air! Woo!

Penolton: Almost no shade and almost nowhere to sit
Tombstone: Only a bit of cover in most fields
HOllywood Sports Park: U MUST buy their paint
SC Village: Worst place, WAYYYYYY to crowded and very xpensive
Jungle Island: $5 bucks for an air fill for ALL ounces.

well the only bad thing about my field is that they raised their prices a bit latley. But the new speedball fields are gonna make up for that from what i hear. Other than that the place is great, 5 minutes from my house, byop, 20 cents per oz for co2, great paint prices (10 bucks for a bag of bigball) good refs, 80 acres of fields, pop/powerade machines, lockers, shaded sittin area. And aperantly the indoor place half an hour away from me is really good too.

6. Every third player smokes about three cig. between games hence it can get a little slow
What can I say I live in Texas, it truly is the seventh ring of hell! Paint is 15 for 500 and 60 or 80 bucks a case (2000rounds) depending if you buy diablo or PMI.

guess i forgto to mention that a 16oz fill is 4 bux and that you can buy the paint at the store and ask for a pass (57 a case) or just buy it at the field(80 a case) so yeah it pays to live 30 mins from the store. and it has some good fields. the one i havent played at yet is over the fort. it is really nuts it has a old suv with no wheels as the one bunker but wouldnt the windows break if shot from close. if not you could get roll up the tinted windows lay the seat back and wait for an un suspecting passer byer roll down the window and shoot him in the back

-you get sand in your shoes
-slippery when wet
-park on the side of the road (inconvenient)
-paint's kind of expensive
-byop and byoa only (if you run out of paint or air, you're done. period.)
-no refs
-no chrono
-plugs/condoms not required
-the guy who's been there the longest gets to ignore the boundaries without penalty
-one guy cranks his velocity way up just to hurt people and isn't penalized
-one guy shot acorns at people (but was banned by the guy who ignores boundaries)
-some kids take caffeine pills, run up and down the roads screaming, and shoot each other close range
-morons on quads and dirtbikes ignore warnings that they're driving right through a paintball game
-guy who shoots hot almost got us kicked off the field by the county for shooting one of the said dirtbikers (on purpose)
-guy who shoots hot shoots up your gear bag
-nobody respects my authority

Challenge Park:
Expensive, 15 to get in 100 for a case, there proshop is soo expensive, 1250 for a shocker?
The refs are pain in the asses, if u are under 25 you are some immature punk
Fox Paintball:
More expensive then challenge park
The fields are worst then challenge
Hickville
People have more guns then teeth
Realms of Ruin:
New field, not many people come for open play
but I can't complain, it's cheap 10 to get in, and 70 a case, not bad compared to more fields
CCP:
One field
Muy expensive
Bad landz:
Not many bad things besides world class speedball fields

I have four fields within a half an hour from me five if you count a old one thats closed ppl play outlaw out their. there are like three more if I want to go a extra half hour drive or so. Sadly I have only played three out of the five around me. Have to cheak out the other two when i get my new barrel and tank in.

At my field "boomers" there is:
-$10 entry fee.
-If you just want to get your tank filled it's $10!
-$27 for 500 cheap trash fp severe paint that won't shoot straight.
-20 minutes between games.
I mostly try to stay at my outlaw field or drive 45 minutes to ruffntuff. Outlaw field has some very good vets that play there. My friends showed me thier old antique guns and the first scenario game arm patch. It says "tet' 68."

I have four fields to choose from:D ::
They all have thier ups and downs tho.
1st: (my fav. indoor)
tektonx
downs:
FAR, 45 mins.
carpet floor= sliding
hyperball pipes, I don't really like those.
It gets really crowded sometimes
FPO
worst down:
NO BUNKERING, NO SURRENDERING you can't even go to the same bunker as an opposing player, if you do, you get pulled
speed limit is waay too low for the size of the field, ppl can dodge your balls if too far. speed=250
ups:
wednesdays is free admission (save you 10$, but then it gets packed full of noobs or kids with spyders)
diablo paint, midnight is $45 a case, blaze is $53, recsport is $40
paint is always fresh
they constantly change the field layout
carpet floor= sliding
field is well-maintained
refs actually ref good.
2nd: house of paintball (indoor, least fav. field in town)
downs:
FARFAR, 55mins MINIMUM,
expensive
FPO
field paint is bad, poor, or mildly okay. (it's called 'competitive edge', white shell, white fill, inconsistent sizes.)
$59.00 per case
airsoft field upstairs
ALOT of newbs. (noobs+airsofters=:| )
small field
bunkers never wiped off.
weak fills (they never fill over 2k, I ask why, they say 'just come back when your tank is empty')
no bunkering
speed limit= 250
ups:
dirt floor (soft dirt, too)
airball
hot chick working there
it's fun to hang out there
teach noobs basic skills to make them less noob-ish
3rd field (favorite outdoor)
Paintball adventure
downs:
HOT (in summer they play night games though, pretty cool)
rocky dirt floor
some expensive paint $19.00 a bag for anarchy
alot of ppl
two tourney teams hog the airball field, hyperball field is overrun by noobs, 3rd field not set up yet
outdoor= wind effect sometimes
ups:
CLOSE 10-15 mins.
BYOP
near baseball fields, skatepark, concession stands
some cheap paint, $35 for a case of viper venom (iv'e heard that stuff shoots nice, is it true?)
speed limit= 290
BUNKERING
two fields, one airball, one hyperm and a 3rd combo field will be set up soon with wire spools, haystacks, hyperball pipes, and plywood, it'll be huge too, 50k sq ft, the other two fields are only 30k sq ft.
night games are cool
water or sodas are only $1.00
4th field (3rd fav. field in town)
Desert storm paintball (outdoor)
downs:
kinda far, 1/2 hour or so
found in middle of nowhere
sometimes not too many ppl show up
expensive, $15.00 for addmission if you have gear, then another $5.00 for all day air
expensive paint too, $85.00 for a case of all-star, $80 for a case of marbs
three fiels are all wire spools, and a field full of the same bunkers suck
outdoor=hot, but they also have summer night games
ups:
good paint
one field is big, natural canyon field. there are two big canyons kind of makinh a long, deformed "O" shape, in the bottom part of the larger canyon is a small speedball field, and there are bunkers on top of the plateau. very tought field to play, and you get TIRED from running.
BUNKERING
speed = 285
BYOP
diverse skill of players show up.

I have been to three fields around here, though only two enough to pass judgement but they all have same similarities:
They both are a pretty good drive away (about 30 minutes, might not seem like a lot but a lot of the roads are small country roads and down this way that means flat and dull so the drive is boring as can be). Both fields have good owners but the reffing staff needs some help (though one is starting to improve and I haven't been to the other in awhile). The one field I used to go to was FPO and it was 32 Degrees for 60 bucks a case...It wasn't the greatest but for a while it as the only place I knew. The place I go to now is BYOP but 45 bucks a case for TC Venom which does wonders with my gun setup and 55 for Evil (on Sundays, 60 on Sat.) which from what I have heard isn't too bad.
One drawback (to me at least) is that the games are pretty far from the staging area because there is no protective netting around. Sometimes I sit out a game because of a bunch of youngins with tourney aspirations and egos riding high going out (a personal thing) and I would like to observe but I swear I have to take binoculars out to watch the games...disheartening. Also, I love woods ball more than speedball but they only have two woods courses (one that is basically a cluster of trees on the left and a few spread out the rest of the field and one that is dominated by a fort with hevay brush and foliage all around) and they aren't that great...that is one of the fields, the other didn't have woods at all.
Nonetheless, for 10 dollar entry fee and 5 dollar all-day air, I can't complain. Also, this one place I go to now has just set up a rule about no shooting within 20 feet and no getting within twenty feet...It might not seem like a big deal but I used to like the 20ft surrender rule because it gave the newbies a chance to give up without getting wasted and turned away from the sport, but that's personal preference I reckon.

all the newbs there who think they know everything. They wear their expensive jerseys and use the top-end markers there mommys pay for.
But when the get in a game they go to the closests bunker and hide there and don't do ****. Then after the game they brag how well they did and make up ****. I have seen some wipe also.

Ballin' here in oregon sucks. THe closest field to me is warpaint internationals indoor field and it is 40 min away
$15 entry with own stuff
$1 per 1000psi
$3 per once co2
$8 100rds crap field paint
$100 1 year membership
Members can buy paint out of pro shop for cheap. I think case of marbs cost like $50 with membership.
The field is a small indoor which don't bother me to much but..
It's not ballenced.
The ref's, well don't.
They don't chrono, they go by honesty:|
No ventalation, so the field is mud which sucks cause I am a major crawler.
Their is an awesoeme pro shop here in salem though. It is called Extreme Velocity. They carry everything you can imagine and only carry equipment that they will back up and stand behind. The owner, Carl, is awesome to deal with. Customer service is just awesome. Prices are competitve. Infact his pro shop is so awesome warpaint re-did theres and it is still not even close. I really hope Carl opens his own field cause it would be sweet. Him opening his shop has done great things for us oregon players. I suggest anyone in the area support his shop. You wouldn't be disapointed.

Field: Warpaint International
I think we need to get your story straight.
The field is good, and is actually more well maintained than you say. Your probably some employee of extreme velocity that has no life and got a few extra bucks to throw out some bs about warpaint.
If you were smart you would put out the 10 bucks for all day air. If you don't like.. go spend the cash on a fill station and scuba tank and then the 4 bucks to fill it, where can probably get 4 fills off of.
If you don't like the 100 dollar membership, which pays for itself in 4 or 5 field uses.. well don't buy and spend more to play, and get no deals at all. Your choice.
The refs well... do
what else would you like to know? Go to play the outdoor and paint is what?? Oh 45$ a case.. and if you like the indoor field, its about the same!
and they do make you chrono... I hope you weren't talking about the rentals.. since they do those themselves. I've seen people kicked out for shooting hot.
If you have problems with prices.. think about it.. running a business isn't free. So grow up, and when your balls drop gimme a buzz here and I'll take ya out and biatch ya on the field.. Unless you want to do it now.
My email is burtonrider975@aol.com is you wanted to contact me with your sissy school girl complaining. Hope to hear from ya.......Seriosly, get a life.

Well, since I play outlaw, there's not really any set fields, and the places we play at pretty much take care of themselves...case of 2000 for 35 bucks, good stuff...$4/$2.50 for air full day/ per fill
(All the extra $ my bro gets off of the CO2 goes towards a new chrono, miscellaneous crap we can all use). Chrono as close to 280 as we can. Don't mind spiking or anything, since we all know each other...
So the worst things about where I play, would have to be that flippin kid with the itchy trigger finger (9 shots right in the back point blank:pissed: thought they hit the ladder my ***) and the fact that the closest field (from where I am) is 30 minutes away, farthest is an hour.

All of the refs suck at my field. They just sit on the sidelines and only watch people who are within 20 feet of them. They never move. Also, the CO2 is a bit expensive. I have to pay $4 for a 12 oz. Plus, almost every day I go one of the idiot fillers doesn't fill it all the way and I get like one hopper off of it. I know they're trying to rip me off because when I go up and tell them it was underfilled they don't ask any questions. Oh yeah, the owner is a real jerk because his field's team was caught WAAAYYY overshooting. They were at 350-400 fps and he didn't do anything to them. The only thing that came out of that was the refs enforcing barrel plugs and masks.
