Ok, here's my question.
Say I get 300 fps with the dwell three clicks from the bottom, but I need to screw my LPR almost all the way in to shoot at the correct speed, wouldn't that mean I should turn the dwell up and the LPR down? Thanks.

If I'm correct, you told me to set the dwell to shoot 300 fps and adjust velocity with the LPR. Well say I get the dwell to 300 fps with about 3 beeps from the bottom and the LPR would only function if I turned it all the way up..... that would mean I should turn the LPR down, dwell up right? Thanks for the help.

uh, i think you'd be defeating the purpose of the lpr, no? with 3 dwell clicks, and your lpr all the way in, thats make your hammer pressure super high. what is your valve pressure?
i'm pretty sure what you're aiming for with the lpr is to have it set pretty LOW, while cranking up your maxflo/valve pressure to achieve 300 fps. my guess would be that you want about 200-220 psi thru the maxflo to the valve, then use your dwell to get to 280 or whatever your field limit is
please let me know if i'm wrong, i sux w/ lpr's.. too much hassle

you could do this:D and be insane
back your lpr knob all the way out
turn your dwell all the way up
bump your maxy to 200
turn up the lpr till you get desired velocity
that would be insane...... mebe even pinch paint:crazy:

LOL no way! I would just want a good dwell with good LPR. So I'm guessing three beeps from the bottom is a little low for the dwell, high for the LPR. I'll change it at the chrono next week.
