The Desert Field? My fav for big games. When I played it last Sunday I made it to the 50 right off the break, had a couple balls whiz right by my head...unfortunately my team lost like 5 people and I was pinned down for good. Ended up getting hit from the side.

To whomever said they played at RLD in Brooklin...

Whats it like there?? We were going to play there for my friends stag but they wanted a $30 per person deposit, minumum turnout of 22 ppl.. Which was a little much for the organizer to spot on his visa especially since only about 12 ppl actually came to play.. Of course as with all deposits it was non-refundable so that would have sucked...

So we ended up playing at Sgt. Splatters instead.. But as with most indoor fields I imagine it was sloppy in there.. Some places were almost quicksand.. muddy in others, *EVERYTHING* was covered in a layer of paint so thick you couldn't touch or lean on anything without getting covered. Even places where there shouldn't be so much paint.. Like 15 ft up a straight vertical wall where there is no upstairs, etc.. Just a wall.. ??? I know everyone takes a couple of potshots to drain their hopper before they leave or whatever.. But it was just gross... You'd think they'd powerspray the crap off every once in awhile.

But we are planning to go up there or maybe to Badlands outdoor field up by Georgina north of Markham...

But I would like to hear more of RLD.. What their fields are like.. The state of repair their rental markers are in, the prices, etc...

Ax.

It's a great place, friendly staff and great prices to boot. If you aren't too keen on setting up your own game they have walk-on days each sunday (unless its a holiday sunday) from 10 to 4 I believe where anyone can come and play without resevations, you can still rent equipment if you need to, there is usually no shortage.

The rental equipment is well maintained (I haven't used it so I can only say from the appearance). The fields are... woody :-) I've only played on 2 or 3 of them so I don't know them all but they are all pretty straight forward (big rectuangular wooded fields) and there is one speedball field if you get sick of playing in the woods (the speedball field is MUCH cleaner than splatters). The walk-on entry fee was about $10 plus paint, rentals, air (I think), and any other things like camo if needed.

Here's their website: http://www.rldgames.com/ it's not very up to date but it should answer any other questions.

I play wherever it's legal. (Only one field around here, and it's kinda far from where I live). But the field behind me friends place is awesome. It has lot's of towers, underground bunker etc. And we also play in these Barracks from the war.
