I need to take the internals out of my gun and I cannot figure out how to get the macroline hose off. I know this is a very stupid question, but I have no experience with macroline and I just bought this gun used from someone.

Alright, the macroline elbows work by tightening on the line as more pressure is applied to pull them out. So if you just tug on the line, it will tighten. The secret is to push on the rim of the elbow, the first thing the macroline touches as you slide it in, while you pull the line out.
When you put it back in, make sure the end of the hose is cut clean and not torn or jagged. You don't need teflon tape or loctite.
