Is there anyway to reduce the kick of an impulse? My friend also has a impulse similiar to mine both upgraded from stock and his kicks a lot less we shoot at around 265 fps at 160-170psi.

Dwell/Pressure setups. What are your internals and what are his?

My Setup: Stock 2k2 Imp Vert Max, Blade Trigger, Slik Shot, Voodoo Bolt, Tapeworm, ND Low Rise, Halo B, Dye Ultralite, 88/3000psi PMI Nitro, PMI Perfect Drop. That's everything on mine. Totals 1211 grain I believe.

His Setup: Stock 2k Imp Horiz Max, Voodoo Bolt. Also runs nitro everything else stock.

2K imp? Tell him to check if he has a Derlin Valve cause the older imps didnt have them

His internals weigh in at 1177 grains. Yours weigh 1211 so there shouldn't be a difference.

Hmmm, even before he got his voodoo mine still had a very noticeable amount of kick in comparison. Any suggestions at all to reduce this?

bump it to 180 psi....... back dwell all the way down..... turn up dwell until you shoot desired velocity

what kind of barrel does he have?

He has the stock progressive I have a 16" ultralite (I play back)
