I thought about this long and hard, I will save up all my money for a while and buy the sto and nitrotank and setup.
Is it worth it I have benn thinking about for a while and lastnight at the local field they had night speedball and someguy had an sto and it played really good shot accurate and sounded good.
So it will probley take me a while to sae all the money to get it but it will happen so should I do it?

Remember, it was the guy who was playing well and was accurate. A good gun will help you in these catagories, but most of it is the player. I have no experience with cockers, so I can't really help you too much. I would suggest shooting the sto and some other guns in that price range.

No one I know has one only the guy i met.
I should of asked him we talked a lot while watching some of the rounds and got to talk.
When he wasent on my team we got pretty close like 5 feet away bunker to bunker then I shot him on his pack and I called a paint check on him and the ref's did nothing,
Then later on we were talking and I told him what happened and he did have my paint on his pack where I hit him.
Damn reff's! lol

i think you should do it. . . if u like cockers, for that much money you could go electro too, like an imp or bushy or shocker
I am a die hard Automag Fan but after shooting a STO I fell in love, I don't have one myself but have shot one and have a friend that has one. they are great markers and are just awesome when you have someone with a fast trigger shooting it. There are a couple of things to consider before you deside to buy one.
1: Do you have a fast trigger finger? if not, are you willing to lay down alot of money on a marker that was made to preform with a fast trigger finger?
2: Are you one of those guys who likes to fittle with your marker? If so, the STO, just like any other Cocker has alot of working parts and can be a headache to work on. I know that some Cocker shooters will disagree with me on this one but imho that is the biggest problem with Cockers.
3: Do you see yourself progressing in the sport? This question is where you set back and consider if you are willing to lay down alot of money for a marker that in a couple of years will be setting in your basement on spair room collecting dust because you have either grown tired of paintball (not lickley :)) or ran out of money to play due to lifes other changes (getting married, kids, health etc.)
If you answer these questions and find that you still want one then i would say go for it. They are great markers for the higher level players, but as Orryn said, it is not all the marker, most of the good play you see on the field is the player working his marker to it's potential. If you are not as good as your marker then you will find that it will not help your game in the long run.
Good luck with your decision.

my advice, stick out a little more money and get it done at a local shop if you dont know how. They can set up your steel / macro line, bottomline, or if its a non-screw-in then just attaching the line to it, or you could just get it and try it yourself, macro line fittings and hoses are like 10 bucks.

If it is for the regulator on your gun, or to show the pressure going into your gun get the 1200 one. You have problems if your gun has an intake of 5000 psi. :)
