View Full Version : kickback on my impulse

i have never really noticed it until i started shooting left handed but theres actually alot more kick to my impulse than i thought. i also shot my friends Nasty and it was much smoother (i have an original vision impulse).

i was wonderin if anyone knew what the problem was. i have a few conclusions:
-could it be that the Nasty is just better?
-i have upgraded internals (ND bolt, Eclipse titanium hammer shaft and SS hammer) but i dont have an upgraded valve?
-my dwell setting is too high/low?
-my gun just sucks? (we all know this is most unlikely hehe)

someone help me out please. if its because of the valve, please give me some recommendations on which one to upgrade to. thanks guys.

first of all Vida is hot, i have her as my desktop wallpaper(if thats whos in your avatar, cant tell for sure)

check what your pressure at, it allso may have something to do with(not sure)
For weighting reasons:
Barrel length
Tank size
Hopper type and paint

also whats your pressure at?

not really sure if it is anyof these tihngs

You're pressure could be set too high. An LPR would definately alleviate your problem.

I think it could be your hammer. KAPP has an adjustable hammer kit where you can change the weight of the hammer from brass to delrin and back again. IF you were to put on the delrin it would make the kickback better and would possibly even make your gun more efficient.

theres no doubt thats vida! hehe, i got her on my desktop too! i love her.

anyway, back to business, my pressure is running around 180. and i dont think its the hammer because it lessened the kick when i first got it upgraded.
