You made the right decision!!
A tl is about $60 less than a shutter and it performs just as well.
The shutter has a reg that performs no fuction at all because it is before the expansion chamber and it has the stupid exposed bolt.

Counterfeit, I disagree. I don't want to start an argument or anything but the reg does haves a function because the x-chamber does not expand anything. It is basically a gas-thru foregrip because it is useless.

Acually the reg does preform a fuction, it is just reversed once it get to the expansion chamber. See a reg, gives you regulated air, and once it goes through the expansion chamber it basically unregulates it.
While, the little drop forward reg might look nice and pretty it does not help your gun at all. It is also the reason a shutter costs so much more than a TL. That is why I really hate shutters.

Oh and yes the expansion chamber does do something. It does what any expansion chamber does, maybe not as well but it still does.

Iknow that a expansion chamber does have a function, but what I am trying to say is that the one on the shutter is so cheap and useless that it might as well be a gas-thru foregrip (I believe that it is only one stage.). This is just my opinion though; I don't want to start an argument like the ones at PBC.

Plus the fact that Kingman regulators are very poor regulators.

My buddy recently went to purchase a spyder tl plus and he said the gun was scratched had a bubble in the paint on the handle and furthermore he said the shroud that they use on the tl left scratches in the gun itself..... when he called the store he bought it from he got "Well that shroud leavesa the same scratches on almost every tl we see come in and out of here I believe it due to the way it is put on"
needless to say my friend was pissed and bought himself a piranha pro
