For the past two years I've been playing paintball w/ a rebel. I hate it. We'll just leave it at that. I've known for a while I was going to buy a tippman and now I'm ready to buy. I have a friend who is willing to sell an A-5 that was only used for one game(I know b/c he only plays with our group) for a pretty good price. My only question is whether or not the A-5 is as reliable at the 98. I mainly want this gun b/c I've eard how well they hold up during any situation and frankly I'm not too worried about the extra fire power of the A-5 if it's not reliable. Thanks for the help.

if it says tippmann on the gun then its reliable

the a-5 isnt quit as derable as the 98 because it has some plastic parts but its still going to be a great gun
buy if its a good deal

I'd definently go with the A-5 if it's around $200. Ths A-5 has so many +'s compared to a regular 98C. The cyclone feed alone is awesome. And just for the record: I LOVE A PARADE!!!

I've had my Tippmann M98 (Upgraded to a custom body) for 3 years now and have not had any major problems with it.

I've had a few minor problems, but nothing a call to tippmann customer service couldn't handle.

the screws must have rusted like hell. im trying to sell my 98custom. but i want to eventually get an a5 with solid stock flatline electronic frame regulator run on nitrogen. i have played with one setup like this at a scenario well lets say. 8 guys attacked me. i was the only one defending the base. i took 6 out before i started to run out of air and paint and my tema came and took out the 2 other guys.
