A-5 expansion chamber

Need to know if an expansion chamber will help my gun shoot straighter.I just got my A-5 and the only upgrades i got are the R/T and a 8 inch lapco bigshot.Whenever i fire it,the balls fly off some random yet semi straight direction.My old tl+ with a teardrop could lob balls like darts,but my 279 dollar A-5 has no where near the accuracy.For the most part,ive had accuracy by volume.And if the expansion chamber helps,where do you put it in at?

its the barrel, the x chamber is a waist, get an anti siphon, but before that get a new barrel, a 14 or 12 inch barrel will be your best bet.

x-chambers are to keep liquid co2 out of the gun

get a 12in. barrel j&j ceramic and anything made by smart parts + CP : are all good barrels to choose from.

how much paint have you shoot w/ the bigshot mabye its crap paint or its a bad paint-to-barrel match

I don't understand!

I have the same set up as you do. A-5 + 7.5 Big Shot + RT. and I never have a problem with the accuracy. I can hit anything I am aiming at.

Maybe the paint you were using doesn't match the barrel.
Try to use different paint.

Or maybe you got a bad barrel, call Lapco customer service.

agreed a-5s are nice but are also over priced. a mag would have been a better choice.

and for the price of that brand new a-5 and rt you could of gotten a used mag with hpa barrel and revi...:rolleyes:

You are right. Nothing is perfect.

But I am very happy about how well my A-5 works.

I had tried other guns like Speed Angel, Autococker, spyder, but I still like Tippmann.

I just love the way Tippmann guns look, I like my paintball gun looks real. To me, paintball is more like a war game instead of a sport.

I know a lot of you don't agree with me, but that's OK.

Well,i got a remote line,tweaked with the velocity a bit,and put some pmi's(was shooting dusks before) in my hopper,and while not doom accurate,the stream of paint is much more concentrated than before.Now all i need is a Car Fx stock and I will run into battle,emitting a xena-like war cry as my opponents cower behind their bunkers.
