hey guys, i think i did my washing wrong, i made a really bad choice and i poured water down my barrel when it was connected to my gun and i even think some of the water got into my acutal gun, dont even bother calling me a retard for doing it wrong or whatever, because i already know i did it wrong, so my question is, did i defect/ruin my gun by doing that?

depends... if you have just done this within the past day or so, i dont think it will harm your gun if you just take it apart and dry it out, but if you have left this like this for weeks, you may get some rust.
hope that helps,
rob

Take it apart and dry everything off.
Follow the manual's instructions and use the manual's diagram to understand how to put it back together.

just let it dry out... it won't hurt anything... even if the entire thing was rusted it would still work...
don't worry about it... just don't fire it with water in it... co2 + water = ice... ice + o-rings = brake... o-rings + brake = bad

O-rings protect from CO2,N2,Compressed Air leaks.

oh yea i see my c02 ring, its still on, should i switch it since its damaged?

Check the O-ring on the bolt too.
Regarding switching the O-ring, if it ain't leaking it doesn't need to be switched is what I always go by. :)

WOW :biglaugh: :dunce:
you should be fine just take apart your gun and dry the insides with a paper towel.
if the o-rings aren't completely busted put some oil on them, and put a couple of drops in the asa and then take a couple of shoots like 10-15. remember to do this with the barrel of so you don't get oil in the barrel. ;)
i mean without the barrel

does it have any upgrades on it? because at the field when we clean the rentals we just run water through the feed tube and dry fire then to clean out the chamber...doesnt hurt the gun at all...think of it this way....the gun is designed to be able to have paint splooged all over...what do you think is worse water? or paint? all water will do is make your gun wet...wont hurt it any

My friend's dad has a bunch of SL-68s and all he does is shake em around in a bucket of water to clean em out.

Like Tommy said, people clean their tippies using running water through the breach so you don't have to worry about it.
