never fog again!!!!

yeaterday i went to comp usa and bought a small laptop computer fan and mounted under the visor above my goggles and mounted a 9volt battery inside the mask it works great

Well. I have one of the Vortex JT fans and while I never fog, they don't cool me off very much. I do appreciate the no fog, especially with my glasses, but would be nice to cool down a bit.

My radio shack computer fan setup works great. Half the guys I play with have rigged up thier masks with similar results. It cost me a whopping $15 (I allready had some of the parts to do it) A $50 jt fan would not even fit on my mask, So the heck with them. I mounted it on the right side, because that is my dominant eye. It still clears the whole mask though.

I would suggest that you DO NOT cut any holes in the mask that would allow paint to get through, even if it seems highly unlikely that it would at that angle. Just dont want anyone to get hurt. I cut a space in the visor ONLY portion of the mask so that it fits snug. Use zip tyes to secure it. Imo that is safer than messing around with bolts that could come loose under impact.

This works great and I highly recommend it, but USE COMMON SENSE AND THINK OF SAFETY FIRST IF YOU MOD YOUR MASK.:D
