Depends what version of the spyder you have. Is there a spyders owners group? AGD has an exellent one for the mags. If there is anything like that out there, that would be the best place to ask.
BTw I gotta agree with pb56. Thats over $200 worth of upgrades and if you sold your spyder, you could prolly get a mag on ebay for that much. I just picked up a standard feed with accesories for a friend. (Whos $750 custom spyder came apart at a weld) We got it for $300

Personally, I think all the upgrade shat is fun... It was almost dissapointing when I didn't have antying else to upgrade on my piranha... now I'm building a mag and getting a stock cocker to play with tho, so it's all good. I think those are good upgrades tho. And you can take the revvy, stickes, and drop off of there when you get a new gun, so it's not like they will be a waste if you decide to get something different.
All in all, I say go for it, especially if you dont' want to get a different gun

I totally agree.
BTW, i think you should get a 12" Xcel..i have one and its sweet, and i think that the 14" has the same amount of porting....so it really does no good to have an extra 2" of alluminum.
With a 12" you have a smaller profile and same quietness as a 14", so why not get the 12"?
Just my opinion..
Nice upgrades tho .. Oh yah, one more thing :)
the PMI is a fine reg, but may i suggest a higher end regulator. If you get a higher end gun, you cant pull off your PMI and use it on that gun..the stock reg would be better than the PMI.. I suggest either a Palmer Stabalizer or a Gladiator...they are both top of the line..they both work great on co2 and if you upgrade to nitro, they both rock on n2.. you can use those on a better gun if you choose to get a new one in the future..just my opinion...but the gladiator and stabalizer both run for about 80 bucks each...but if you can, choke up the extra cash and go for one of the most imporant upgrades..THE REGULATOR
your gun has to be consistant and properly regulated :p

Just from looking at the pictures on the net, I would say no. Spyders have those freakin offset holes on the gripframe, and it lookslike that drop has inline ones... why kingman did those wholes is beyond me, silly, just silly...:dunce:

I still say no, the upgrades are good. $103 of your upgrades can just as easily be put on a new gun if you decide to go that route... that's like over half.
He already said he didn't want to buy a new gun.

Consider this. You hjave to lay down 200 bux in upgrades at some point if you follow that route, but are those upgrades going to help your game? not really. I say buy only what you really deem nesccacary that will actually help your game, such as the barrel (I recomend CP or SP). and leave the rest bone stock. What will make you a better player, these upgrades or if you take the cash from the upgrades, and go play? Playing is the only thing that wil make you a better player, no upgrade can ever change that. Also, try buying used when starting out, you'll save a ton of cash

That is a good point but i still think he shoiuld get the revvy (he can use it on another gun) and the barrel. Get a used CP. I have one for sale, check my sig.
As for the drop forward, i dont thinik you really need one. If you use co2, im assuming you do on a spyder, itd be silly not to :| , you can just hook your co2 tank right up to a bottom line and if you use a stubby tank (either a 16oz. or 20oz.) than its short enough you don't even need a drop forward.
But a revolution hopper and a barrel will defiantly help his performance.
Dont worry about the drop forward, and maybe the reg. Your reg would help, but i wouldn't spend 42$ on a brand new one..get on eBay.com and find a WDP regulator. (many autococker owners like to replace their perfectly fine WDP stock regs, just so they can feel like their gun is better :) ) You can also find cheap regs on PBC, PBN, or maybe even here.
The other option is to get the stab or glad reg and u could use it on anotehr better gun if you decide to do that in the future

AllO's ideas sound good to me too... except it's WGP, not WDP... well I'm pretty sure anyway. I don't think you'd get too many WDP regs off of stock cockers :eyepop:

i think a drop is one of the most important upgrades it would suck to have a tank longer then your gun my tank is straight underneath it only sticks out the back about an inch more then the gun it makes it a lot easier to nap shoot and tuck in

Will the Psychobalistics Universal Drop Forward fit my gun?
CrazyEdd
08-06-2001, 08:32 PM
Indeed, it will... I'm lookin at those forked up little holes as we speak. :) I tell you what, you get the drop you were lookin at, and we'll trade :)... actually, I'm thinkin about a dropzone2 because my mag grip is so long, and so close to the frame, that it touches the drop. Which might not be that bad now that I think of it... more compact, and more balanced... hmmmmmm
