If I get the bob long torpedo reg then is that the only reg I need for the gun to work..? Because I have a hp tank and I know b2k is lp and I just wanted to know if the bob long will be the only reg I will have to buy...?

Actually the Bushmasters and BKO's have 2 regualtor systems. The torpedo is the HPR and a LPR under the barrel regulates air down to about 90 psi so that solenoid can handle it. The torpedo is the only thing you should have to replace unless you want better consistency across the chrono. Make sure that you have an adaptor for your HPR though.

The BKO has a standard ASA adaptor.

How much are adapters for the hpa...? Also so all I have to do is buy the reg etc and the gun will work...? How do you adjust the pressure with the bob long reg and the stock lp thingy

Actually he has a B2K but thanks for the comment.
If your gun is stock, you will have to buy an ASA adaptor that the torpedo will screw into. Then the gun will work. You adjust the pressure on the torpedo through a screw on the bottom. The LPR is under the barrel and is adjusted buy screwing adjuster in or out.

There is a chance you may not need an adapter if you have one of the newer B2K's.

Does the HPR has grooves milled in it or does it have a smooth casing???

If it is smooth then you will already have the ASA. If not then you will need to purchase one.

I would recommend the ICD ASA since it comes with a gauge and has the best flow of any of the ASA Adapters I have tried so far.

you have to e-mail ICD if you want them to sell you one direct, and i'm not sure they do that.

the B2K comes w/ a reg that should work for your gun already. so unless you are upgrading you really don't need a new reg. Just thought i'd drop that out there

Are there any alternates ex getting a different reg..?
The reason I'm doing this is because I'm buying it off of a kid and it doesn't come with a reg soo yeah..

Is this reg any good http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/034-8500.html
