PLEASE HELP WITH FLATLINE BARREL
I just got a tippman custom 98 with the flatline barrel modification.
I use CO2.
It breaks paint. Accuracy is horrible.
I beleive I am pretty good mechanically. I see other people shooting fine with the same setup as I have but mine setup just sucks.
I have followed all of the instructions on how to setup and tune the barrel.
If you have a tippman custom 98 with the flatline barrel and you shoot far and accurate and do not break a lot of paintball, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS AND TELL ME HOW I CAN FIX MINE.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP

1. are you shooting fast, flat lines can olny shoot about 3-5 bps or they will start poping like know tomorrow.
2What paint are you useing? they work best w/small-medium bore paint.
3.Is you adaptor in all the way? Twist it in ward till it doesn't want to go in any more then line it up with the line in the body(were the body comes apart) make it perfectly parrallel.
4.Put shroud and barrel back on and loosen the screw holding the barrel in place till you can twist it, then tweek it till it shoots the way you want to, make sure the barrel is in the adaptor all the way or it will olny spray paint every were.

1.Yep.
2.About 1 out of 500 shots breaks flatlines just do that.
3.I use pmi premium and eltigre, but when low on $$$$ cheap I&I sports paint.
4.Very accurate up to about 250 feet strait on.
5.No it kind of floats across the field.
6.CO2, hpa is to expensive.
7.No just aplain old CO2 tank.
8.Yah it's just a tippmann Ex. chamber nothing special.
9.275-280, it's as high as a flatline can go and still work the way it's supposed to.
My real name isn't BOBO it's just a screen name from my days of Unreal Tournament.

Sounds like your having the same problem as me with your flatline. Mine does'nt break paint but when I aim level it curves way up after about 60-70ft. Maybe we can help each other if we find anything out, my email is g0redskins@hotmail (0 = a zero). Hope I can help you out and me!
