Is Xtra Ok?

I've only played once at my friends and I'm hooked on paintballing. I've read so much stuff on it so I'm wondering if I should get this set up. First off I think sniping would be really boring. So I'm gonna be frontline when I start.

Should I get a....
Spyder Xtra, Custom Parts 12" barrel chrome, 20 ounce CO2?
Would that be a good starting gun?

Oh yeah my friend brought his 98c and I was snap shooting in my back yard standing up. And I was hittin a pop can and it would fly up and right when it landed I shot it again. It was cool. My aim is 1337. My friends gone paintballin a lot and when he did it he completly showed his whole body. IVe only gone once and I've never snap shot before and I was teachin him how to do it lOl.
I only show my gun and head.

sounds good. you might wanna have an anti-syphon installed on your tank. other than that you should be good to go. of course you'll also need a mask but i'm sure you know that already.

maybe you should slow down and buy a mask, gun, C02 then see if you can justify upgrading it (anti siphon, barrel, electro hopper, etc...). That is my suggestion. Don't go into paintball too fast, you might run out of gas.

find a marker package. comes with all you need to start with so you don't have to worry bout it.

I would get a 12 oz tank. I get about 500 shots off mine and I live in Texas, but thats just me. I only say that because one day you will upgrade to HPA like most everyone else. . .

also get a package when I got my xtra years ago shop4paintball.com had really good deals. For what I spent on my original gear you could get twice as much now.

I like 20 ounce tanks. And the Xtra is only 83 dollars. And Im gettin a mask too. Im not that stupid ;)

I am gettin a package for 140$... Comes with Spyder Xtra, Vloader 200 round hopper, 20 ounce CO2, Squegee (hopefully i dotn need it), JT thermal mask.
Then a CP barrel cause stock suck. Thats an extra 40 though so all together its a180 dollars atwww.paintballgear.com (http://paintballgear.com)
