People seem to like guns with vertical feed but i cant really see why. It doesnt seen thered be that drastic effect on the ball flow.

it makes the balls drop into the breach faster.

well, one thing is...like vertical feeds...the paintballs stack up on each other in the vertical feed, and is a direct flow from the hopper. other guns have power feeds or watever, which slows down the dropping of the ball. also high rise vertical feeds stack up on each other so u always shoot balls, unlike other guns dat without a revvy, the balls jam and dont flow.

So essentually a Vert feed doesnt need a revvie, but a revvie makes up for it on a standard or power feed?

well the balls still need help getting out of the hopper, but after that, the balls drop faster becsu the balls don't take any turns getting into the breech.

in my oponion there is no difference between veritcal and powerfeeds. i have used both many times and i have found no difference. I think that vertical feeds are good to avoid having to buy an elbow or a raised site rail for a site. other than that i see no difference.

They are proven faster. Think about it this way. What's faster, dropping a tenis ball off a cliff, or rolling it down a hill. Not just down a hill, but it's gotta stop and reverse directions half way down too. Simple physics, vertical is faster. That and I like high rises, Including the ball in front of the bolt, i can fire 7 shots before a ball even has to come out of my revvy, and that helps alot.
