Ok I may be trading my PS2 package for a Standard '02 Impulse with some uprgrades. I was wondering first if it would be worth it, and how well does an Impulse work. I have used many other electros like Angels, Spyders and others, but never an Impulse. I have read that they chop paint like mad, then I read they never chop, Which is true and which isnt? How accurate is it with the stock barrel and how much better would it be with a barrel like the Smart Parts "AA". Does this gun run well with Co2, and what is the stock trigger like, I hear the Blade trigger is highly reccomended. If someone could please tell me more about this gun that would be awesome.

Is it worth it?
Yes, It is definitely worth it, quit playing with a controller and pull the trigger :-P. Even if your buying a non-vision im its worth it, because its easy to get them to not chop, even without an anti-chop eye.
chop or no chop?
It depends, all guns can chop like mad if they are ****ed up. All guns (except Bushy's :-P) can not chop. Impulses, on average are pretty good about not chopping as long as you have a good hopper and a good paint/barrel match (to prevent barrel busts). They don't chop like mad, thats the bushmaster, but they aren't free from breaks either (especially the non-vision ones which is like what you will be getting)
Barrel question
The stock barrel (Progressive) is a decent barrel, its sold as an aftermarket for other guns. However it is definitely not the best. Nonetheless your question of how much improvement will you get with the All-American? None, if your paint/barrel match is the same anyway. Accuracy is all reliant on paint/barrel match once you get past the part of polished/unpolished. However I would recommend you go with a different barrel when you have the chance, but until you have the chance/money stick with the progressive and you'll be fine if you match the paint up correctly.
CO2
The impy is made to run on CO2 or HPA and in fact does run pretty well on CO2, better than most other high-end guns (cockers, etc.). However I would still recommend you get HPA when you have the money, because it is always better to run a cleaner air through the internals.
If you do go with CO2, however, MAKE SURE MAKE SURE you get an anti-siphon tank or convert yours to an anti-siphon tank, otherwise you take a huge risk of murdering your impy!
Trigger
The stock trigger isn't all that great, it has a lot of side-to-side play (although some people like that) and the pull isn't all that great. The blade trigger, or similar (Werm trigger for instance) is definitely a good upgrade, and HEY its only $20-$25 so why not?
I hope that answered all your questions, if you have anymore check out the FAQ (link is in a sticky thread at the top of the forum) or feel free to ask if its not answered in that FAQ
