Every so often my bolt would pinch the ball and I would have to recock it. Could it be the ball detent thing? I think it was a little loose from when i was going to take it off. I didnt think I loosened it but I got my dads robogrip and I could still tighten it. Should I tighten it all the way? I adjusted my sear right when I got my gun.
I didnt try adjusting it when this was happening.

Also, Is there anything I can put on the back of my bolt to keep it from dinging my goggles? Like a piece off rubber or something, anyone know something offhand?

Look at it this way.

Pinching is better than chopping.

thge pinching is caused by the paint being really hard and the bolt not chopping it in half. has nothing to do with ur detent.

samw reason its pinching. just the paint is brittle enough to break.

yea tru, one of my fields sells nitro duck, and it is pretty hard shelled. So my gun will pinch the paint, but sometimes i cant recock it, so i have to pull the bolt out a little bit and put it back in.
