Personally, I take woodsball anyday, I like the more patient wait to engage type action, but glad to see you found your calling...good luck.

Speedball is my favorite.
I use to play woods and it started to get boring.
Then I got to play speedball again, I got addicted to it.:wink2:

Glad you've found what you like, I was the same way.

Rec ball is better for some, though, so to each his own.

Rec doesn't always necessarily mean woods, rec could be anything that isn't a tournament really. Outlaw is generally woods, since there's no ref's, or chrono's ect...

Guess that could be true, just at my two local fields if it's rec ball it's woods, so I always associated thusly.

I play pretty much play woodsball exclusively if for nothing else than money. Paint costs money which I am short on because I just bought $150 in upgrades. I still throw in a game or two of speedball whenever I go though.

So, wait a second, you use less paint when you play woodsball?

Maybe it's just because I play front, but I find I shoot far less when I play speedball. No trees and crap to suck in half my shots.

Everyone I know uses less paint in the woods. It's more "point and shoot" than "spray and pray". A lot of the time I can use as little as 20 balls in a game.

stfu with the "spray and pray" i play front in speedball and use alot less paint than woods plus i use a semi auto. SO ALL SPEEDBALL PLAYERS DONT SPRAY AND PRAY.

You have just played your first couple of speedball games!!

I guess I should take into consideration the fact that most of the speedball players are sponsored with Angels and such and routinely empty a hopper between games just for the heck of it. Anyway, I'm more suited for woodsball considering my gun is 3 feet long and I'm a sniper so I don't use much paint.

dude pillbox... calm down both are fun can we all agree on that? recball is well more recreational i generally am more relaxed when i play for 100 paintballs (thats our prizes with me and my friends) i mean just messing aorund having a good time has its benefits over a fast paced adrenaline pumping death trap of a million balls flying in every direction while you wait for that perfect moment to pop out fire 3 shots make an elimination and push up the tape - both have there advantages
