Do barrel adapters negatively effect marker or barrel performance?

The olny thing I can think of is that they make you barrel longer if you want a short barrel.

How much more? I want to get autococker treads for a 10" cp barell...how much loger? :confuse:

about an inch depending on what barrel you want to put on which gun.
