Have any of you ever wiped paint off yourself after being shot? Tell the truth... Lol.
To tell you the truth, I have never ever wiped. Although, once a paintball hit me and I looked everywhere to see if it exploded on me and I was right on the inner part of my thigh so neither my friend or I could see it. I continued the game and no one found out. Shhhhhhh... Lol. :goody:

I wiped twice purposely. Once I was told to by my friends (who were reffing) because I was shot right off the break by a teamate, another time my frient lifted up the net and shot me while I was playing and he was watching...wait that happened twice...but the first time I didnt have time to wipe because my other friend who was reffing grabbed a gun came around from behind and started shooting me so I never really had time to wipe that time, then I shot at the ref and everyone got mad at me lol
Other than that no purposeful wipes, every once in a while theres that shot where such little paint comes off on your glove (cant see) and your not sure if its a new hit or not but thats not too often.

its pretty lame how much people wipe, i nev er ever wipe when im playing... but i always see eople do it.. especally pros and stuff. I'll watch videpos of them like get hit and wipe it blindly, or most of them just let it be there until the reffs see it,and half the time they dont... they suck at pb

I'm not going to lie and say I've NEVER wiped, but I have. I've only done it about three times and I feel guilty. One time was with my friends who always wipe when they get the chance too, so I wiped their shot :P Anyway, I do regret doing it this one time since I feel guilty, but it's very wrong.

I've wiped once. Off the break some guy got a lucky shot off that hit a tree, broke but didn't splat and deflected to hit me in a quarter sized area.
I've played games where I've been shoot 2-3 times and didn't call myself out, and the ref told me to stay in. The field was FPO and someone wasn't using field paint so the ref told everyone that if they were hit by a different colour that what was being played for that day, they arn't out.

eh, i HATE it when im with friends and they wipe.
one time, i shot my friend, saw it break on him. he ran behind a bush wiped it off, and continued to play.
i was SOOO pissed, i ran up to him and shot him again....... a couple of times
so, to answer your questions, NO

ya ive wiped, probably about 6 times, but they were all in one day when we were playing like a 30 on 30 match with my hockey team and 3 other hockey teams and a bunch of people.. but it dident really matter anyway because everyone that was playing that day were all noobies so they all wiped..im not really ashamed of it because it wasent a "serious" game

Well, I don't know if this counts... But once I got splattered and the paint splat was around the size of a dime, but I wanted a second opinion so I asked a friend if it was the size of a dime, and he said no, so I wiped it off. I still feel kinda guilty about it.:|
This story wasn't a wipe, but it was cool. I was wearing those armored half-finger gloves, and I took a paintball right on the edge of the armor. i saw the paint fly up in the air away from the glove, but no paint actually stayed on the glove! I got shot with a paintball, and it broke, and I wasn't out! WOOHOOO!!

Ive wiped once but i really had no other choice. I was behind this door on a walk on map and a paintball out of no where curves through the door to the side and gogs me which was a lucky *** shot. I was going to get out but i couldnt the guys just kept firing and the ref was talking and not paying attention so i wiped and carried on.:(

ya i have. not in anything big, just rec, and i practically saved a newbie because it was just me and him against someone with a timmy that was shooting really fast, and he got a lucky shot when i was barely sticking out saying someting to the kid so i just sorta brushed it, the newbie gave me a free pod to:) rewarded for wiping:badboy:. and i have played on lots of times, sometimes you just dont have time to check the hit.

I play on temporarily lots of times because where I play you get shot from like 5 feet away, and if hideing to check for a hit you will most likely have some guy walk through the door and hit you from a foot away and thats painful so I generally make sure its safe to stop paying attention, or like if im in a firefight but know im hit I dont stop shooting because I know he wont and so we both just keep shooting even though we are both hit, but thats more adrenaline really than anything.

Ok I admit it, I've wiped twice...ahh that feels good to get it off my chest. The first time I was playing under a bridge and I ran from one pillar to another...a spray and pray shot hit me right on the tip of my shoe...about the size of a quarter...I rubbed it in the dirt. The next time was off the break at a field and I got hit like on my pinky by another spray and pray shot...a quarter sized hit as well, I wiped that with my other glove. :(
once when I was hit in rec, I didn;t do anything for the rest of the game because I was hit, I didn't want to get shot 50 times walkin off the field

A couple times. Once when I was shot in the back of the head by a newbie who decided my bunker was big enough for two(it wasn't).
I wanted to kill that kid. :pissed:

Well i never have wiped off.........not fair to my friends or the other enemy. Like when i play speedball there afraid to wipe cause they know i'll hit them again ( j j k) there all good. But spekaing of wiping, These guys who play at my local field are so stupid they have those m-16 looking guns and i'v shot them like 2 in one match they don't wipe they just say oh i didn't know...And after the game was over and they were comiong back they thought the game was still on so they shot me freakin 4 times in the leg and in the chest/arm:pissed: :pissed: :pissed: I hate pbs who don't care about others:mad:

i have one or twice. My arm was exposed just a little bit from around the building and the ball broke after barely hitting the wall and splattered all over my arm. It was coin dollar size but since u never actually hit me i just whipped it off. :goody:

Jusy playing around ya' I've wiped. I don't hide it either. I was just messing with a few newbs. In a tourney or something serious, NEVER! You're hit, get out.

I don't wipe at all... In fact I take bouncers and I call myself out if they splat on anything or I rubbed up into something just so I don't cause a commotion... Plus I hate being lit up.. but I'm sure everyone else that plays paintball does too, except for the pro's...

Cool! So, you guys have wiped... bad! Lol. Oh well... Once I was behind a bunker and my visor was sticking out and the guy that was shooting and me shot the edge of the bunker and it splattered on my visor, but I called myself out because I didn't want to argue with the refs and the other team still had all of the people remaining when my team had only my teammate and I. My teammate surrendered after almost being bunkered.

The field I play at should be called Wipers Heaven because a lot of experienced people wipe. My friends, who are spoiled brats (they really aren't my true friends...just pball buddies) wipe all the time, which is really stupid. I tape games a lot and I've seen hits that are played on, like headshots, etc. Another friend of mine wiped twice on his first day because he hung out with my pball buddy wipers.... he now knows that it is very wrong. Stupid kids. :|

I think a lot of people wipe because of pride
I mean if youre an experienced player and you get hit by a noob, dont u feel kinda pissed?
at my feild somtimes they charge no walk on fee but you have to play like half of your games with the feilds team. They are all in their 20- 30s and i have never seen them call themselves out, when they get shot by us. we are like all 15ish. One time this guy was wearing a white shirt, and he got hit in the shoulder with pink paint that left a mark the size of my fist, and he never called himself out. the only time one of them called themselves out was when he got gogged right btween the eyes. That is kinda hard to wipe. It really pisses me off when they do that, because u know u got them out.

Its wrong to wipe, but its not wrong to stay in until a ref pulls u. In fact, its the smart thing to do. U dont have time to concentrate on n e thing else but ur opponents.

ok so you get blaseted 3 times in the goggs, but keep shooting at the person for another minute until the refs see it
? comon , that kindof stuff is ruining paintbll.... i mean maybey keep shooting for 1 or 2 secounds but...

First off, never wiped, never will. If I'm out, I'm out. Whether someone got me because of skill, or because of luck, I still have to give them props. I'd expect the same back.
Ok, but here's something I run in to that I always feel kind of guilty about - The situation is whenever I am checking myself for a hit in an area I can't easily see (for example, visor). If I'm hit and nobody is easily available to paint check me , I'll step back behind my bunker and use my hand to check for paint. For those that are on the sidelines or maybe even those on the other team, depending on what they see they might assume I'm wiping. If I don't see any paint on my hand, I'll keep playing, if I do see paint, I'm out (of course).
I always kinda wonder what people are thinking when I do this and feel somewhat guilty even though I'm not doing anything wrong. If they mistake me for a wiper, then I'll get lit up.... Anyway, what's a good way to ensure that people don't get the wrong idea?

its hard to believe but out of all my times playing, ive never wiped. Especially in a tourny, cause the first time i was in a tourny, i saw this guy wiping on the other team and he was disqualified. He was wiping like 3 shots my back player shot at him. So ive never wiped.

I just wouldn't worry about it because if they thought you wiped they would say something and if they do say something just tell them that you were checking

i guess....but in tournys you just keep playin untill a ref calls you out or you can clearly see it.

I will and have never "wiped" in my life. If I see someone on the field do it then I'll yell and scream at them and to the other people playing there.

Well obviously youd call urself out for such a blatent hit. Im talking about anywhere else, besides the goggles. Like I said, it can hurt ur game soooo much calling urself out when ur not sure. Not to mention th e fact that yore teammates would kill u if u called urself out and u werent actually hit.
