i have been playing paintball for a while now and am seriously considering buying a b2k3, but why don't you see very many of these in tournaments and stuff?

I think at the lower tourney levels you are going to see more and more bushies. My team has 75%+ bushies on the team. Rumor has it that Aftershock's front guys are using the Shocktech Bushy and there are many other pros picking up te bushy. It's a great marker, especially for the price.

yea, but is it really accurate? compared to a cocker?
Shadow Player: I shoot both a bushy and a cocker. Neither of which have a distinct accuracy advantage over the other. The most important thing affecting accuracy is your paint/barrel bore match. It was proven that with the right paint and barrel closed bolt isn't more accurate than open bolt.
If you ask me, someone who shoots both cockers and bushies, it'll come down to pure preference over the gun itself. If you want to be able to putz with the gun more and upgrade everything down to the screws (yes, you can get different screw sets for cockers) then get a cocker. But if you're looking for a fast as all hell, light, small profile gun... Bushmaster is what you want.
Of the three guns I own (the third being a shocker), and of all the other guns i've ever shot. The bushy is by far the lightest and fastest.
This situation is down solely to preference. Try both a bushy and a cocker out. See what you think. Its a hard choice man... I couldn't decide, so I eventually got one of each. New cocker, used bushy. They both shoot like a dream. So there you have it. :)
