1.Dye Ultralite (quite)
2.Lapco Bigshot/Autospirit (very loud)
3.CP one piece (quiet)
or Armson Stealth (very quiet)
4. Smart parts progressive (very quiet)

All of them, even the dye, claim to use 6 micron honing.

Its kinda ard for the armson stealth to be honed to a 6 micron surface since it is rifled. dye is 6 microns and the others are 6-10 microns.

Honing refers to design tolerances, not smoothness.

Oh ok, sorry. In what order are they in smoothness. Thanks for the correction

Your order is about correct, but the Armson, IIRC has straghit rifling.

The J&J Ceramics are the smoothest barrel on the market, but that same deisgn also creates much lower design tolerances between batches.

So I got it in the right order? Great. and the J&J can't really put in because it gets great ones and some not so great ones. Ok great thanks
