heh..that's how I got my 98c...and when it comes time to sell it (soon) it'll probably get passed on to one of my friends who needs a starter gun.

I disagree...

But that's just my thinking (you're talking to a player that uses a pump in the woods so ROF takes a back seat).

Good luck, hope you enjoy your Bushy

:eyes: I know your not directly, or purposly bashing Tippmanns, but check out the Tippmann Pictures Thread. Some guns there make you have muscle spazms and strange cases of Blury Eye Syndrome (BES). With the effort and well placed money you can make a Tippmann a "Tourny" worthy peice of equipment. But, the majority (I believe) of Tippmann owners do play "Recball" instead of entering Tournaments. Correct if I'm wrong.

BTW, good luck with your new marker. Just don't drop it :D

tippmans and spyders both get reputations as "crappy" beginner guns. I have no problem here selling my $600+ mag to get a tippman, im still contemplating a tippman vs. spyder too. Heres some common reputations that are false:

Rep:Tippmans/Spyders are noobs guns and suck
Reason: Noobs buy spyders and tippmans, and a never upgrade them to their potential and/or b they dont take care of them so they perform like crap and people see that and think they suck

Rep: Cockers are high maitenance
Reason: Many noobs do go buy cockers (the little bit more well off noobs) or people that buy them simply dont know how to use them. Cockers will be reliable and perform great if taken care of. Thus people are allways working on their cockers and people are like eww those break down alot when its really the owners fault

Rep: Automags chop paint
Reason: People didnt research at all and just bought mags without know the trigger is similar to a cockers in that you can shortstroke. Another problem with this is some people cant fire without shortstroking where others (like me) have to try hard to shortstroke so wouldnt ever think it could be a problem. Pretty soon mags started chopping all over and so people started to say they chop a lot, go figure it was their own fault.

Im not doing a straight trade or anything. Gonna get a bipod, stock, one of those m-16 front barrel deal-eos, maybe a sight etc. Plus I need some things for my pt extreme which is my primary marker =D
