I was Kinda thinking of getting a J&J Ceramic 12 inch, but I really don't like the color. I could just spray paint it right? If none of the paint got inside it wouldn't do anything right?
Thanks,
P.S.- Does anyone like BE paintballs at all? I was just shooting in my backyard yesturday with my gun, and I could get about 10 shots in a grouping the size of my hand. Also i had no breaks. And I shot omost 200 balls.

the first time i ever played paintball i used to run with BE paint. I actually got a good batch. I shot 500 rounds with no breaks! but the next 1000 rounds i used it was crazy! i broke paint every single game i played! from then on i hated BE paint. I currently run Powerball and I average about maybe 0-1 break for every 1000 rounds. not bad, not bad at all.

Spray painting a barrel, I don't know, I'd be concerned the ports would get plugged up with paint, and that probably wouldn't be good. As for BE paint, I've never used it, and I think the main problem with BE paint is AGE ... If its fresh, it's probably pretty good, but the old stuff, it ain't like Aged wine or cheese, Paint don't get any better with age.

Don't spray it. Paintballs can wear out the finish over time. If you don't like the color, you could always go with a lapco bigshot. They are just a little bit more expensive and are more accurate, from what I hear.
BTW, while we're on the subject of painting, does anyone know if appliance epoxy will hold up in play conditions?

Go with the Lapco Bigshot if ur concerned about color. Its only $7 more than the J&J. I have the Bigshot and love it. Great accuracy, great consistency!

Spray paint does flake off. I'm going to try powdercoating next payday. I have freinds that do it at home for their car parts and they all think it would be a very durable finish for pb.
