I Just bought a used pro-lite in good gondition, muddy but good, came with 500 paintballs, 9oz tank, original manual, gun oil, squegee, all for $85! at my local army surplus store.
Well, when i fired it for the first time it double shot, two balls came out. Well i used that nifty little grip thing that pulls forward so you can look at the bolt, nothing was wrong. I dropped a single ball in it when the bolt was cocked, and it rolled down and out the barrel. I looked at my m98 to see if it does this too, but a little brass thing pops up and keeps the ball in place. The pro lite has one too, but it wont pop up automatically. Is anyone here familiar with old tippys like mine?? If so please post, i have a game on monday.

I just took off the little detent or whatever from underneath, is it supposed to be spring loaded or something?

it is suppose to be spring loaded, just fond a little spring and use some jb weld or appoxie to hold it under it.

You don't even have to epoxy it or weld it. It is designed so that the spring is free floating in the unit. All you have to do is find an old pen. gut the spring to about 3 mm long and put it in then place the plastic detent back in and screw it into the pro-lite again. It will work great. I had to do this one myself when I had a PL so I know it works.

do you mean shove a spring underneath the plastic detent? :eyes: i dont really see the need, i just shoved a tiny piece of paper in to prop up the detent...Working fine today

Alright as long as it works I guess, but the point of the spring is so that your ball detent is not putting to much pressure on the paint, causing it to drag and put a spin on the paintball. But if it works....

I know almost no one will believe me but it's range is almost equal to my m98 flatline :|

I had a 3/4 full 9oz co2 tank on it, shooting draxxus blaze pballs. i was shooting into the wind, so i couldnt accurately judge them, the wind was strong, but the pro lite shoots higher FPS rates, i know that for sure:cool:
To answer your question, i dont know
