This tactic requires a lot o' paint and air, and three to five people. Watching navy seal documentaries, I noticed that to retreat, one will lay down a wall of lead for five seconds, then run back 10- 15 feet to a partner- set up with cover and field of fire, tap him on the shoulder, then set up 10- 15 feet down the road. When one taps, the other start lighting up anybody dumb enough to look around. I figured, why not put a couple snipers/ hosers down the path, wait till they come by, and- well, you guess what happens next.

Having an elaborate strategy that uses lots of air and lots of paint is wasted for a retreat. that strategy should be used in reverse to attack, not pull back.
In the case of a flaghang, 2 or three gys should camp and provide cover while the runner takes of with another teammate towards the hang.

It can be changed for a billion types of plays. You don't even have to use that much paint. Beside, drawing them in to the ambush, then spreading out and walking towards them as THEY retreat is pretty good.

And it can't be used to push foward. Try it. You'll just get clipped in the @ss or leg by friendly- fire.

If you use a staggered formation you could advance. That is the whole "leapfrog" thing.

Still- you are'nt shooting at 1 particular thing- you are mowing them down in an arc of fire- you don't even have to shoot that much- just keep theire heads down- they stick it out- you cut it off. Grenads and artillery,( Air cannons especialy), like a tippman m203 grenade launcher are exellent for this.
