Check you equip the day before, make sure everything works. Fresh batteries in everything before the big game. Don't argue with the refs, not only bad sportsmanship, but it only draws more attention to your team for the rest of the tourney! Get there early and walk the fields, look for lanes, first bunkers etc. Get some practice, the more you get the better you will get.

No how to get the refs pissed right before they call a 1 for 1, once you hit that point stop arguing;), also play defensive, and talk

iv learned from the 2 tournys iv been in is make sure you backmen know whats going on, call out real loud when your hit so the rest of your team knows, call out where you see ppl, stay tight, make sure the battery holder in your hopper is closed (didnt realize this so i had to play a game without a revvy) make sure your chronoed in well befor hand if possible to make sure you are under the limit and have time to fix stuff if need be. wath what other teams do on fields to get an idea for what you should do. if your the last one in, find a good big, easily defendalbe bunker and hide, dont shoot to much, but watch for bunkers, and stay as tight as possible. where knee pads too, got a nice scab on my knee from sliding all day.
