Ear shots suck

i was playing my first game ever at my friends house.... he had alot of friends over to play a huge game. i was in the middle of the field laying in a patch of grass and under heavy fire. i hear a few shots from behind me and the next thing i know i was hit right in my ear hole from about 6 or 7 feet away :eek: it was by my own team mate. he didn't like me much so i think he did it on purpose :mad2:



i guess i was lucky i didn't have any damage to my hearing. oh and i wasn't wearing a mask that covered my ears, but i think you would have guessed that already:D

i would never play paintball without the right goggles. The goggles are the most important thing in paintball and should never be overlooked.

yeah man, at first I just thought you were talking about something related to the recalled proteous mask, but man... that is just not smart playing without a mask.

i've has this happen to me from a "team mate" at the right angle(your six) with cheap rental masks your ears are very vurlnerable and more then likely to get shot. and it hurt for days. the ball bounced and cut my ear pretty bad, almost needed stiches.
