be barrel on an autococker?

hey a while ago i read a thread, i can't remember if it was in this forum or the barrel forum, but a kid had taken a barrel from some be pump and put it on his cocker. he said the barrel matched the threads exactly and it shot really accurately. plus, it didn't go past his front reg and cost him only 20 bucks including the pump gun. does anyone know anything bout this, cuz i would love to do that. thanks

so that i can keep my gun really compact. i have a really far forward drop forward cuz i have a steel nitro tank, and the tank only sticks about 2 inches behind the gun. if i had a really short barrel, my gun would be really compact and i would be able to hide in small bunkers and not reveal any part of my gun
