Paintball Collection

I'm sitting here procrastinating on my homework and considering that I'm very bored, I decided to post something on paintball collections.

I was wondering if I'm the only one who collects paintballs.

It may sound weird, but everytime I play (which is often because I work at a local field), I collect new types of paintballs I see. All together I have close to 50 dif kinds of paint and my collection grows every week.
(I would have a lot more balls in my collection but I don't collect doubles.)

Does anyone else do this? Am I a weirdo?

no, not exactly, but one of my teammates spends his saturday afternoons picking up old paintballs from the sunday before because he can't afford to use as much paint as he does. after a tournament he picked up nearly a whole case!

Well, collecting paintballs is a little different. I usually bum a unique paintball off of a fellow paintballer to add it to my collection (which is free, duh) I don't buy markers worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. :P

i remeber like 4 years ago this kid gave me a handfull of paintballs i like cherished them i thought there were so many (there were like 12) i think i still have some, it was superswirl.

i used to pick up paint and put it in my pocket, for no reason, i dont even think i keeped it.

That's pretty cool, I keep my collection in this rectangle shaped plastic container.

After having this collection for a while now (2 or more years), I can clearly see the difference between low and high quality paint. For example, evil, PMI premium, marbs and some diablos are in pretty good condition while BEs, ZAPs and 32° are old an winkley.:P

It's ture, you can see the older ones that look like grandpa balls are surrounded by other balls that aren't looking too good.:|

There is a little kid at my field that runs around and asks people for one of their paintballs then he pops it in a pod... it's kinda funny cause he's really protective of that pod. Me personally I don't collect paint but when ever I find a paintball on my floor (which is a lot) I toss it in a small jar, I plan to dump the contents of the jar in a gum ball machine soon.

dono, about 200. They'll be ready for the gum ball machine very soon. I think I'll put it next to the snack machine in the gym at school hehehe.

I doubt he has 200 different brands of paintballs... I dont even think there are that many made

thats a shame she threw the baseball cards away....if in good condition or just in a fare condition they can be worth...myself i have close to 30 000 baseball cards and theyve never been touched let alone the boxes been open. theres some money for me some day...hehe

collection of paintballs, there might still be some out in the yard from the other day unless the deer ate them.
