Hey dan, sorry I didn't make it up there today, but I couldn't get the release forms, I was hungover :eyes: and it was raining when I got up. :|

I've been playing phone tag with the guy that has the forms and tried to get him to email them to me, but I must have mumbled my email addy cause he left a message saying that he tried to do it but the message got sent back to him. Ill try again tommorow.

Next saturday we are playing, and I should definately be able to get the forms for you by then. If you want, email me at diaconus@juno.com and I will send them to you via email. :|

Weather? Come on it wasnt THAT bad! I went to Global Park Sunday. I practiced with Team One for the upcoming PnL Tourney. To my surprise alot of people showed up. Mostly teams looking to practice the Global fields before next Sundays tourney, considering how the tourney is being played at Global. We got there at about quarter to 9 and sent two people to the PnL store in Avon to get paint. By the time they came back the rain held up and many people showed up to play. It drizzled off and on through the day but nothing major. And when you have a tourney coming up the next weekend you gotta practice no matter what.You should've went!!!.....Later

Anyone been to randolph paintball? im thinking about doin their traccerball this friday (the balls are glow in the dark, you play in very dark conditions) sounds odd but it could be an experience..

Hick paintball, well its tough to define, not really though. HICK paintball is paintball with hicks, but were a completely different breed then you average speedball-playing-one-case-one-kill people. were hunters. almost every person I play with is silent as death in the woods, all the people I play with are very good shot and there accuracy is only judged by the markers ability to shot straight. Its a more unsophisticated form of play, at AdventureGames paintball park in Wear NH you will find a whole new type of enemy, HICKS. Its really funny to watch these wussys that buy cockers for there first guns get there bootys spanked by a bunch of hicks. I love to kill them too.

you should play woods ball with them, its hilarious and tons of fun.

One-case-one-kill??:pissed: I resent that. You rec-ballers/woods players might think that is what tourney ball/speedball is all about but try going to an NEPL or PnL tournament and I guarantee you'll have a different perspective of tournament play. Yes, we do shoot alot of paint, but one-case-one-kill is definetley an over-exaggeration. You'd be surprised how hard it is to shoot someone out in two seconds while they're moving from bunker-to bunker. Accuracy and comminication is key. Don't get me wrong I still like playing woods ball, especially attack and defend. But the two worlds of paintball are very different. Thats why players of both styles of paintball should respect what their counterparts do. I'm sick of the whole recball vs. tourney ball and woods vs concept field war. Remember, in the end we're all still playing the same sport....PAINTBALL

I guess I didn't say it right, I'm not talking about all speedball people, with the right people its fun, but most people on this site are just one case one kill people. I understand that the more experienced players are not that way, I respect all forms of paintball. I played one game of speedball agents a very experienced man, he could have won agents all us hicks by himself. like a ghost he moved so quickly and had pinpoint accuracy. He sucked in the woods though. But I asked him how he was so good at speed ball. he said he plays pro level 1v1 tourneys.

One more thing, Does anyone know of any fields in central mass? It would be cool to meet and play against the other people on this thread/site. I would come out to boston area, but its a bit of a haul. Maybe the next time there is a tourny I'll whip up a team and come out.

1-case-1-kill is still quite an exagerration... i go out with 500-1000 rounds (depending on how much is in my wallet that day), and i get a good amount of eliminations.. (like, i play maybe 12 games during the day, and get usually 1-2 eliminations per.. ), and im not nearly as good as some people are...

if you shot a full case, chances are that by sheer coincidence more than one person would run into a ball of yours.

Hey all, Just got back from a fun day and I got a few pics for ya. but first, There is a big game going on next saturday. I forget where the feild is right now, but will post about it when I get the details. Might be fun if we could get our respective groups of players to go and form a mega team.

today I brought the cheapo digital camera to the field, with the intention of getting some action shots. Well..I was in the action most of the day, so I tended to forget about it and didn't take too many pics until the last couple of games, and I completely flaked on getting pics of the lunch setup/barbecue.

Heres a good guy with a great gun. Thats intimidating firepower he's laying down. He just got it and played with it only in semi, but under fire from him today at time I could have sworn it was full auto. Also a buddy who was almost a no show got to play with his new mag for the first time. I think I may have made a convert from a HARDCORE spyder owner.

This is south of springfield in Hampden. Its not a pro field.

It's a great group of guys to play with and all safety rules are strictly enforced. There is a chrono, air fills and grilled lunch. :) Paint and often spare parts are available.

We play every other saturday next week being our off week. However I geuss a lot of us are going up to play in a big game next sat.

I'll post on that when I get info about it, it will be open to the public. Supposedly it will be a 70 plus game. My brain is fried from being in the sun all day so I cant remember the name of the field.
