Although I've been there and watched from the sidelines, I have not actually played the field. The 5 acre field is settup with a WWII theme. From what I saw (on the sidelines) they have at least one speedball field that is settup that one end matches the other like a mirror and is completely on level ground. The field is surrounded by high netting. At the staging area, I noticed that they had a long sink with multiple faucets for cleaning your gear after each game. From what I could tell, the owner (whom also runs the Oroville Army Surplus next door) has put alot of thought and planning into the operation. To my additional sum of assumptions. Combat Zone has been running tournaments.
There is only one downside that I know of to Combat Zone. That it is field paint only. In the beginning they were only supplying Brass Eagle. The last that I heard, they had switched to Diablo brands of paint. At the time that I had been there, they were using Brass Eagle Raptors as their rentals. What they use in their equipment or what their prices are, I don't know. Here is their web address: http://www.combatzonepaintball.com/
I hope this gives you better details.

Creek, I am just getting back into the sport and haven't played at combat zone, I hear it's not worth the $15 per day charge.
I have been playing on top of hwy 32, paintball by Dean, do you play up there?

There is also a relatively new field in Paradise called Dogtown. I know nothing of it. I just heard of it. Has anyone played there?

I have played dogtown about every weekend. Deans I know of but I hear driving in you almost need a 4X4.
Dogtown,is 15 bucks also with your own stuff paint etc.. Or 5 using there paint. 1 good thing is that it has a lot of trees and shade so its not bad for the summer. They have a air field but the pass few weeks they have not had it set up so its pallets again.
I play at combat zone like firday and saterday nights if I do. They have a few duffrent paints there now also.

Hey Creek, what happened to those directions to dogtown?
I tried their website, phonebook, etc, but I am not able to find anything on the location. If you find some time, can you shoot those directions this way?
thanks,
